For everyone's amusement, I have changed my profile picture to be of my Corgi lying next to the Membership Handbook. Considering how small Corgis are, this should give you some idea of how small the Handbook is. OMG LOL. Look at his cute little legs! He looks almost like a stuffy. Just look at the sweet little pumpkin pie. Sadly I have very few pictures of my cats. They tend to run away when I pick up my phone or iPad to take a picture. That's why a lot of cat pictures show cat butts. It's all they will let us see. LOL You and your sweet corgi can visit me anytime. I'll make tea. No wonder the queen has corgis! Yeah, I couldn't resist posting about this. What can I say, I love animals.

I'll change it back after you've gotten the chance to see it, but I also got the opportunity to take a photo of the Membership Handbook next to my recently adopted 12 year old cat, and updated my profile with that photo. She's also quite small (ten pounds).

That's a cat! Isn't a Corgi a type of dog?

Isn't a Corgi a type of dog? In the broadest of terms, yes.

I have switched the picture back in order to defend my Corgi against this vicious slander from Beckett. Honestly, they are for sure unlike any other dog; small (average twenty pounds), super smart and independent, somehow excellent herding dogs (they're one of the few breeds that can successfully herd geese), often great at agility competitions, and utter goofballs who dearly love people and make for excellent therapy dogs. You can probably tell that I'm a bit of a fan.

I have switched the picture back in order to defend my Corgi against this vicious slander from Beckett. [img alt=" I must apologise - I only became a dog person when my parents decided to get a lovely Bernese Mountain Dog by the name of Ayla. The only Corgi I know personally is one Admiral Joker vom Kalimandscharo, who is usually quite pleasant but can be a bit of an arsehole at times. I myself could not keep any pets that demand much attention due to being out of the (one-person) household twelve or more hours a day during the week, which would amount to animal cruelty even if it were a pair of cats. Maybe I should get a snake.

Believe it or not, one of Cordelia's best friends for a while was a Bernese Mountain puppy (Bella), who of course at three years younger than her was four times her size. It was unbelievably hysterical watching them play together, as Cordelia was always able to outrun her, but would willingly let herself get "pinned" by Bella and then wiggle her way out. And your Corgi acquaintance has perhaps the best Corgi name I've ever heard.

Maybe I should get a snake. Not trying to push you into getting cats (really!), but I had two cats when I was still on active duty in the AF. I remember going for temporary duty for a week once. I laid out like 9 disposable litter pans, and 12 bowls each of food nd water. When I got home you could clearly tell all the litter pans had been used, all the food was gone, but about half the bowls of water were still full. But like you mentioned, these days if I tried that I get arrested. The cats were fine by the way. They were brother and sister from the same litter and they adored each other.

If the description is correct, it's not the membership handbook, but a blank notebook with the MPC logo on it (the membership handbook also doesn't have a bookmark in it like the one in the picture does). Still, this looks really cool, though the extremely high shipping cost gives me pause.

Has anyone ever posted photos of the pre-2015 membership kits? Do we even know what year the earliest membership kit was sold?
