Most successful Experiences (a subjective distinction entirely my own): The King in Yellow, Risen, The Weeping Book, Century Beast (if you were a Kickstarter supporter) ... least successful: Under the Ceiba Tree (I am not the intended audience, which I believe to be a tween girl), and Tempus Fugit (which leaves you with nothing but questions). Everyone has their own taste, of course, so your mileage may vary.

And now we can see how poorly this experience must be selling if they've renamed it "Quest of the Werejaguar."

I was wondering what that was about. I suppose said target audience is hard to market an Experience this expensive to.

In all honesty, when I saw the new name in an email pitch for the experience this morning, I had to look at the calendar to convince myself it wasn't April 1st. It just seems so uncharacteristically ... I don't know, I guess "juvenile" is the only word that comes to mind.

To be fair, the same goes for some of the content of this Experience; let me refer you to the assessment by thegenii.

From what I have heard though...this Experience was geared more toward children, was it not?

I bought this experience for my wife last year, and she enjoyed it. She is decidedly NOT into tween girl/young adult material and didn't find this too over the top in that regard, though she wasn't madly in love with it or anything (neither was I, though there were elements of it that I enjoyed). When I told her this morning that they had made the name change, she was surprised it wasn't called that to begin with, as she thought it felt much more appropriate for the experience.

When I click the above, it takes me to thegenii's general profile, but not to a specific post.

I guess I thought you were talking about a different comment in a separate thread, my bad. Thanks.

I just received the crate for this experience, and I'm very glad that I checked in here to gauge how others enjoyed/rued it, as I had no idea there was supposed to be a second, smaller, round object in the crate. Specifically, I received this: I'm guessing that the smaller object is supposed to go inside the indentation? Thank you for your help on this!

Yes, you are right. There should have been a smaller object included. From the picture I even can't spot its usual hiding spot. Maybe ask MPC if they changed the experience?

Mine was actually inside of the main Artifact and fell out of the indentation when I picked it up to look at it. It should be a smooth green pendant, I assume supposedly jade. If you didn't get anything like that, I'd contact them.

Thanks everyone! I am sending a message to MPC right now; I'll report back with their reply.
edit: they apologized for the mix-up and are sending a replacement small round object to me. They didn't offer any further explanation.

Well, it took a month, but the replacement small round object was received and everything is looking good!
