Has anyone else noticed that the pattern of the black tiles on this puzzle mirrors itself - save for one tile who's letter could change the secret message of the puzzle into something much more tense?

Yes but there's one tile that changes the symmetry. Only one. Flesh out the theory then. How does it change it? What does it create/remove? How does that fit the rest of the issue and its puzzles?

There are different kinds of angels. A little googling will show you at least two kinds, I forget how many there actually are. Boticelli didn't paint these.
