I'm creating this thread for discussion of the second and main mailing for Hastur. It's hard for me to believe, but I'm estimated to receive mine in two days (11/27).

I'm on the fence about picking this one up once it's released publicly. I'd appreciate a PM with any pics/details that you're willing to share.

Wow, mine's scheduled to be delivered today! That's a big surprise; it was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday! Well, I guess I know what I'm doing tonight.

The crate is huge, about three times the size of the King in Yellow crate. There is a lot of stuff inside, and there appears to be quite a bit of decoding to do. The artifact is terrific. And it is not the only 3 dimensional item in the box. A total of 9 3-dimensional items including the major artifact. HUMONGOUS spoilers below (photographs).

Wow Hastur is incredible. It’s going to take a very long time to go through everything but there’s a wild number of artifacts, tons of paper content, and the main Artifact is spectacular. Probably the best single unboxing of any MPC experience other than Demon Jar and maybe the first John Augur box.

This was an awesome opening. As others have said, it will take a while to get through. A lot of reading, a cool activity from the past, a puzzle or decoding of sorts... my only regret is that our garbage hasnt been picked up in a while and this was a big box with a lot of packing materials to dispose of haha. I'll add that this Crate was nice and easy to open. Time to hide away and read!

I also found the crate slightly easier to pry off than the past two,

Alright so super spoilers ahead, my thought on the entire experience. so I loved every bit of it up until the final website. I loved the artifacts, I loved the ritual, the ephemera it was all fantastic. I personally just felt like either video chosen on the website at the end cheapened the over all experience. I was hoping we would get more story/ online documents to investigate and read through. Similar to the burried puppet, instead it just felt like the video gave a crappy ending and just left me with a handful more question than anything. Overall the experience is still awesome though. And I can’t wait to display everything. I guess I’ll take this time to mention that I liked the original two website, the second SRDA website being my favorite interactive piece to an experience yet.
