Wait a minute, so they gave us absolutely 0 details at all, like I understand not wanting to know about the final artifact and keeping documents a secret I totally agree with that but, not even telling us how many mailings or a description other than “ from the people who have brought you an experience on the king in yellow, now presenting and experience on, The King In Yellow” . Maybe I’m just being a downer, it just feels like when you argue with someone about something so they do the complete opposite thing to get back at you. “ man, it really sucks that they showed us everything on these past two experiences they released.”........ “ Boss, I’ve got it. We will show them abosolutely nothing.” ....... “Genius!!!”. I guess I was just expecting a little more of a discription at the very least . Edit: and another thing, I remember when experiences came with your name customized into the mailings for free, now that’s an additional $75 dollars

When I looked just now, there were only 6 backers.
According to the FAQ, this is not related to the King in Yellow or Rise of the Cult experiences. I'm interested to know if the Cthulhu experience mentioned in the upper tiers is related to the Crate of Cthulhu, or the Century Beast though.

Yah. I definitely need some sort of details before I'm backing this one.
Plus, a big thing with Kickstarter is stretch goals. You gotta give people a reason to donate early, and not just wait for the full release of the experience online.
It's almost as if they've never seen a Kickstarter campaign before, and they think we'll just give them money because we have before.

I decided to back it, but only because the base Experience is quite cheap compared to what I was expecting ($200). None of the other tiers are appealing to me at all (especially spending $1000 to presumably email with Kapalka). I assume the Cthulhu Experience mentioned is The Crate of Cthulhu as opposed to something original/unique to this Experience. They do also mention stretch goals at one point, so I assume they'll be updating it soon. I agree though, this is a pretty rough launch as far as Kickstarters go, though I do like the returned vagueness of what the Experience is going to be (and the video is suitably creepy).
What's intriguing to me is that in the FAQ they seem "confused" by the concept of mailings (there's a question mark for the how many mailing is this question), so I wonder if either it's going to be all-in-one of if there's going to be an online element, like maybe video of the performance.
Also worth noting that they've created a brand new Kickstarter profile for this.

I think it will be at least a couple of shipments as the answer to a question about when it will ship has the reply that "the bulk" of the experience will be delivered in October 2019. With a shipping cost of $30 and the lowest price for the Experience being $275...I'm not sure. I have been so disappointed with their products for the past few years I'm not sure I want to invest that sum with them.

I have been so disappointed with their products for the past few years I'm not sure I want to invest that sum with them. Just to note, it’s $275 in Canadian dollars, so it’s about $200 USD. Also, their last two products, the Crate of Cthulhu and Post Mortem: Death in La-La Land, were notably better than other recent products in my opinion, so I’m hopeful this will continue that upward trend.

I'm saving my money for the Boundless Library. From the looks of it, you may never be able to spend that.

A 15 pound artifact for $200? Maybe it's a sack of Hastur's laundry? AND they've misspelled "dependent."
"Shipping will be charged after the Kickstarter campaign concludes and is based on the actual costs incurred to ship. Shipping costs vary widely based on where you will receive your reward and which reward tier you have chosen. Unfortunately, a one size fits all price isn't manageable. You will pay for shipping in our Pledge Manager, which you will receive links to shortly after the Kickstarter campaign ends.
"Dependant on your pledge, the product will potentially be a multi-mailer, quite large and heavy (base product approx. 15lbs), resulting in relatively high shipping fees. The weight of the product may also increase slightly based on unlocked stretch goals."
Oh, and it's two mailings without any stretch goals.
Now up to 87 backers and almost halfway to the goal, which they will certainly exceed.

I'm saving my money for the Boundless Library. From the looks of it, you may never be able to spend that. It's closer than ever. I have it on good authority. In many ways, it fells like the glory days of MPC, where estimated ship dates were regularly exceeded by weeks or months, and every email from the Curator was a reason to get excited..

Ha, they answered both of my previous questions about number of mailings and the Cthulhu Experience being the same as the Crate of Cthulhu.
I’m a bit confused as to why this is a Kickstarter given the relatively low price and lack of stretch goals. I guess it’s because of the customization.

Looks like they will reach their artificially-low goal by the end of the day.
