I will confess that, due to "extreme peer pressure" (wortelboer PMing that she was grudgingly going to submit it), I submitted an application, but put in close to the bare minimum effort to complete it, including choosing E for the spatial puzzles and paying tribute to the FAQ for the Filigree Kickstarter and answering "No" for most things. I also did not send in a picture. I was tempted, as per the instructions in the upper right, to actually send in a blank application with nothing but my return address.

I've got nothing to print a picture with..... so I'm attaching a stick figure, wearing a hat (it's very XKCD)

Just curious, how did you find out about this GDA application? I've looked through all my previous emails from MPC and can't find any mention of it.

The final C&C (RIP) had a card that lead players to a website. I don't believe it's for public consumption, yet.

Just curious, how did you find out about this GDA application? I've looked through all my previous emails from MPC and can't find any mention of it. Yes they have not marketed this in any way other than to subscribers of C&C by including that promo card for it in the box for Countdown To Oblivion. So you could presumably still find out about it if they're still including that card in new copies of Oblivion, but no other way to find out about this. I suspect that this was going to be a bigger deal when it was first conceived, but recent business issues and staff turnover probably negatively impacted this. I am not convinced at all that anything is actually going to come of this, especially with today's troubling development that they're starting to discontinue Experiences (only one for now, but I'm sure others will follow).

I'll have to go back and look through my box -- I might have overlooked it. If I had, I wouldn't be surprised, as I haven't really spent much time looking at V4; it just hasn't grabbed me the way the other volumes did.

I found the card. It refers to to WWW.MURDER.FORSALE which redirects to the new page on MPC.

Wow. There’s a lot of personal info on this. NO ONE needs to know about all of my sailor tattoos.

I hope I never have to answer questions about my app, cause I didn't make a copy of it, and I certainly didn't give them any true facts.

Yeah, I know it's in good fun but as I was filling it out I kept thinking: "Wow, a lot of these questions are TOTALLY illegal to ask..." I certainly didn't give them my birthdate. Or disclose my pigeon feet.

I sent mine in today, if only because it will be nice to be involved from the start if it turns out to be any good, instead of playing catch up as a late starter. All great experiences start somewhere and I'm hoping that the simple act of filling in this form will be the first step in an exiting journey. If it turns into nothing then at this stage it's cost me nothing. Life has taught me to be prepared for disappointment but never stop believing in magic.

I haven't sent mine in yet; I cannot decide if I should send it in sarcastically OR with invisible ink. (I just don't see any other options.)

Let's face it. They do not have the time or personnel to sit and review each of the applications even if we were to spend time and energy completing them. Other than grabbing the name and address off the pieces of paper (if they even do that much), I seriously believe the rest will not even be glanced at, and once the mailing information is retrieved the application will go in the recycling bin. I think the whole thing was just a ploy to give them more time to come up with something and this gives them the excuse to delay even longer with a line about "reviewing the applications".
