The subject line of my email says "Your Empty Faces upcoming shipment on Dec. 15" and when I went to "manage my account" it confirmed that it is indeed scheduled to ship on the 15th. I also see that it wants to charge me $30 on December 15th. Which surprises me because I thought the discounted rate was for the life of the product when I signed up! I thought so too...I'm trying to find the original email. I do not care for the fact that I have already been charged for the Dec. shipment and am also being charged for the Jan. shipment before the first mailing is even sent out. I have sent them an email. Will wait and see what they have to say.

It was a mistake. Remember this is an attempt by the computers to create confusion and mass hysteria so that it's easier for them to take over the world. We must remain calm and patient!!! lol

This has been posted on a Facebook page:
IMPORTANT: An automated email was sent in error last night via our e-commerce platform regarding an upcoming renewal transaction on December 15th. Until February, we manually adjust all renewal dates each month via a batch method in Shopify prior to the 15th.
We failed to realize that the notifications generated last night would automatically send before we performed the manual renewal adjustments today.
Episode 1 ships on January 26th, and first renewals for episode 2 will occur on February 15th.
My sincerest apologies for the confusion. We will also be following up with an email this morning.
Thanks for being a member of Empty Faces

So Empty Faces is due to ship shortly. Looking forward to trying out something different. Kinda hope it is something that Scully and Mulder would be working on. The X files would be fun to be a part of.

After going through my box and doing what is there, I find myself asking... is that all? Hope it gets more involved next month, or not sure what my money actually paid for!

My partner seems to enjoy reading all the stuff. Like it's puzzly enough for him to enjoy without it being too difficult for him. This will likely be one that I mentor someone else through and enjoy watching his experience unfold.

Well, I just started it, but I'm very impressed by how much content there is on the girls' website. The puzzles for sure aren't too tough so far, but they may get harder as the season goes on. HaK in general (same company) doesn't have super difficult puzzles, though the first season finale had one that at least took some pretty solid work, and 1973 had some I thought quite difficult ciphers to crack. Overall I'm really happy with this, and I love the moon pendant's design.

Well, all that translating took some time. Two different codes spread over five different pages, but it is all done. Good intro. to the story. Haven't figured out how to unlock the entries yet, tried a few related words for each one. May have to wait to another issue for those. I'm happy with it.

Yeah I'm not seeing a way to access any of the locked entries yet. However, HaK Season 2 has a sort of similar online password protected pages situation, and those tend to be very obvious in terms of what the password is (though the trick with those is to figure out what the page itself is, which isn't always obvious, so this could be totally different). I'll mess around with it a little more, but I have a feeling we'll need to wait until Box 2 at least.

Just got my box today, and so far I am pleased with it. I haven't worked it yet. I am re-reading Terry Pratchett and long tedious translations aren't going to stop me. Perhaps they are more tricky than the look at the moment, but Sam Vimes is tugging on my arm.
