Got an email today hawking Tempus Fugit (not the odd part), and it is signed: The Curator, The Mutinous Package Company. I wonder who is mutinying and why? Maybe the interns are feeling overworked? Or does the Curator need another vacation?

Too bad I'm not computer literate enough to upload the email or even the signature. I've looked at it carefully several times, and I'm sure it says Mutinous Package Company. I replied to the email asking to join the mutiny. We'll see if I get an answer or not.

I've not seen this email either. It may be related to the unsanctioned $17 sale, or perhaps to the ongoing Curator/Editor feud.

Looking back, I see they used the same signature on the $17 Sale email of 8/12 and we just hadn't noticed. Or had not spoken up about noticing.

I just got the Tempus Fugit email myself. I think it's kind of exciting because this might be more of the racking up of some interesting metaphorical billiards and the break is gonna happen soon

I have a slightly depressing theory that may throw cold water on this. The $17 off e-mail, or at least the second one that mentioned that Those to Whom I Report will return on Monday, is John Augur themed and specifically mentions that this sale is a mutiny (the last sentence is "Until then, please enjoy the spoils of our short but resplendent mutiny"). The mutinous signature there makes more sense and seems in line with standard MPC e-mail humor, kind of like the themed intern signatures from earlier this year. I have a feeling that for the Tempus Fugit e-mail, which I believe is the next one I received with a Curator signature, they just carried over the signature from the previous e-mail, likely by mistake. This would not be the first time that the MPC displayed some sloppy editing.
Edit: I just checked the original $17 off e-mail and it is indeed signed "The Curator at The Mysterious Package Company."

Well... heck. Oh well, I would rather have facts than daydreaming of a future MPC civil war. We might still get it.

Or maybe it's tied into the next issue of Curios & Conundrums, Clockwork Mutineers...

Or maybe the next issue is split between Tempus Fugit and John Augur...

And now, looking at the Curios and Conundrums page on the MPC site, I see that the Curator has suffered a change in penmanship. The current signature:

I love how curious everyone is! I also love how you're noticing different signatures and company name changes. This is just such a cool group. Ah, I've found an escape from reality. Just what I need.

I got the first one on Oct. 23 and the second today. Hmmm... very, very odd.

They really should remove the video from the C&C page, it not longer actually portrays what C&C is about.
