While I lack thegenii-like ability to get quick responses, I do have an email in to a Concierge requesting clarification. As do I!

This does not bode well. Mine shows as canceled now. I received a $50 rebate some time ago that was directly credited back to my bank, but now I have a $50 store credit as well.
I'll need to check if the entire $200 had been credited back to my bank as well.
Also, still waiting on the November issue of C&C.

Oh - I was simply assuming that the store credit was the partial refund the Company paid by way of apology for the delay. Maybe the entire supply of Dragons' teeth have been stolen by you-know-who? If that is indeed the case, I will probably treat myself to a Demon Jar to cope with the loss...

On the bright side I ordered two, so I have a $100 credit. I really wish we would have got an email about all of this before it happened, or even an email now

I've had relatively decent correspondences with the Curator in the past. I just fired off a email to inquire about that and my missing C&C issue. I sent a similar missive to the Concierge almost two weeks ago, but did not receive a reply (other than the automated one).
Nothing is showing up in my bank accounts whether the $200 is being re-credited, but it may be too early to see.

Mine still says "Pending." Maybe you'll still be receiving one due to the VIP status

Aha ... so looking back on my order, that additional rebate might actually be because I applied my 20% discount from the Century Beast towards purchase of the Tooth.

Aha ... so looking back on my order, that additional rebate might actually be because I applied my 20% discount from the Century Beast towards purchase of the Tooth. On the other hand, when I used my discount for The King in Yellow, the invoice reflected this, and my credit card would only be charged the reduced price. I did not go over my credit card bill to find the earlier refund yet.

Mine still says "Pending." It would be interesting to know if the store credit is in any way related to the cancellation of the Vulcan Dragon Tooth order. Did you receive the credit?

I received the $50 refund and also the $50 credit.
The credit I received is definitely related to Vulcan Dragon Tooth as a concierge emailed me prior to the credit showing up: "More importantly, I was terribly sorry to hear about your disappointment. Your extension and understanding were greatly appreciated and I am terribly sorry we have let you down. Although I recognize that it I cannot undue the situation that arose with your Dragon Tooth, I have gone ahead and applied a further $50 in credit to your membership account and hope that you can accept this along with my best wishes and sincere apology."

Interesting - did you ask for your order to be cancelled? Or did they indicate that they would cancel it?
