Hey everyone, Roy, here! Artist, actor, and occasional zoologist, I've been calling Seattle "home" for a couple of decades, now, but I'm originally from Florida. I discovered MPC quite by chance, but am extremely glad I did! I'm a long time fan of games and stories of a puzzling and mysterious nature, so the chance to participate in the way MPC makes available is pure heaven. I think it was the overall tone of the Company that first attracted me, before I even knew about Curios & Conundrums.
In terms of my other pursuits, as an artist I work in a variety of media, ranging from traditional 2D protraits to 3D digital imagery, and have (over the last 4 years) been exploring sculpting; primarily 1/6 scale figures and head sculpts. As an actor, I've done work on stage many times, and can also be seen in film and on television (Z Nation on SyFy was my last tv gig). Yes, I have a degree in zoology, and used to work as a keeper/animal trainer back in Florida; currently, though, the only non-human animal I take care of is a miniature long haired Dachshund named "Daisy".

Hey-o everybody! I'm Adelind Anne from the periphery of Pittsburgh and this is my first C&C! I dove headfirst into the (for lack of a better term) "transmedia puzzle rabbit hole" when I heard about Endgame last year- completing the ARG and first book's puzzles (now stumped with the rest of the world on the second's set)! In the interim between books I made my way through a few ARG's and loaded up my Amazon cart with things like "S" and "Cathy's Key". My urge to untangle every mystery that crosses my path, conspire to dig deeper in every conte, and possibly (probably) over analyze the aggregate befuddles my closest compatriots while assuaging my amaranthine appetence. While I consign more time to my consulting career than I care to, my mind often meanders towards this befuddling bulletin; I look forward to unraveling unusualities with you!

Hello everyone, I got caught up so much in the sleuthing that I totally missed this great introduction thread. My name is Karita, I live in Germany, a 1,5 hour drive from Hannover, I am now 42 years old, but still feel like a kid sometimes, totally bored by all the grown-up stuff and totally lost in my imagination. I like running out in the fields at night, climbing trees, looking at the stars. I feel so deep, that this reality is a very fragile thing, and that there may be so many others out there. I like every story that deals with this fragile aspect of reality, sci-fi, fiction, non-fiction... I have a masters degree in phonetics, but actually work as a writer and artist, (www.karita.de if you click on "Bilder" you will see some of my photographs, if you click on "Kreaturen", some photos I took from monsters a friend of mine is creating), and I have a son who is 9 now. My nickname comes from Dr.Who, (where it had some special meaning through the first series with C.Eccleston).
So nice to be with you all on this mystery!!

Hello everyone! I'm an active member/designer in the San Francisco Bay Area's experiential design community. I've taken part in building and participating in many of the organizations, societies and projects out here; most of us are focused on different methods of storytelling through experience and art. A collaborator told me about MPC about a year ago, so I joined and sent off an experience. This year, I finally decided to jump into the Curios and Conundrums subscriptions and have really enjoyed what I've seen so far. Not a big puzzler, though I do enjoy them at times and how they play into overall story structures.
Anyway, I look forward to joining the community further.

Hello! I have only recently discovered MPC. I have received the C&C catch up package. I haven't yet purchased "A New Era of Thought". That will have to wait until next month. "The Child of the Cavern" will be my first "monthly". I did purchase "The Weeping Book" but have yet to receive it.
I am both old and young. My cats often enjoy helping me type at the computer so please forgive any nonsense you see from me. I am often not very good at puzzles, but occasionally enjoy a flash of brilliance that gives me hope.
Thanks to you all in advance for any help you may provide me in the future.

Guess I should add--I am a Mathematician and Space Operations Officer. Sounds extraordinarily cool, but the reality is all solutions are provided to me by highly paid scientists. Maybe that's why I like puzzles.

New member here. I came across MPC last night and became enthralled. My first puzzle book was 'The Merlin Mystery' from about 20 years ago. I'm a pharmacy student, college instructor, life science hacker. I signed up for C&C for myself and an experience for a travel buddy. He and I try to 'one up' each other each year with our gifts.

Hey, guys! New member(s) here! My boyfriend and I have decided to share this username to post on here and browse. We recently just found out about MPC and had to get it. We got so far all the volumes of C&C by ordering the catch up mailings. We cannot wait for the second issue of Vol. 3! So hopefully we can help out figuring out puzzles and riddles and make good contributions!

I am both old and young. My cats often enjoy helping me type at the computer so please forgive any nonsense you see from me. I know that feeling. "Age is a state of mind. Youth and age exist only among the ordinary people. All the more talented and exceptional of us; are sometimes young and sometimes old, just as we are sometimes happy, and sometimes sad." H.Hesse And btw, my cat loves typing too. :-)

Greetings, I am Le Chat, or Kat if you prefer. Much like my namesake I do tend to observe versus speak up in the forum setting, however, I do look forward to getting to know and conversing with you all.
I love novels, puzzles and video games. One of my friends has recently convinced me to join her D&D campaign (it is my first) and my character (who is still in the works) is going to be a street urchin halfling rogue/theif.
Also I saw earlier someone mention their Hogworts house?
Slytherin represent!

Hello! I'm Tim from San Antonio, TX! I'm a high school Latin teacher and musician. I enjoy video games, reading fiction, Classics, NBA basketball, urban legends, cryptozoology, sci-fi, fantasy, superheroes, and psychological thrillers! I'm so excited to have received my first issue of Curios & Conundrums! I've had an interest in ARGs ever since watching Michael Douglas in The Game, but I always seemed to miss the opportunities to engage. I forgot about ARGs for a time until I watched The Institute on Netflix! After liking a few pages on Facebook, the ad targeting mechanism pointed me toward the MPC! I really look forward to the experience of solving the various puzzles! Hello Tim! Sorry this took me so long to see... I used to live in San Antonio, also. In fact, I have a tattoo from Singapore John's, around the corner from Ripley's. I spent sooooo much time at Midnight Rodeo. And I miss Whataburger desperately.

Greetings. My name is Josh and I hail from the south-eastern portion of Pennsylvania (Philly burbs). I am a fan of good fiction, theater (I stage manage and make props for a hs theater), good music, fine scotch. I got into MPC not only because of the mystery of the stories but the detail that they put into their experiences really caught my attention. I have been slowly working through the first back order of C&C and trying to now keep up with volume 3. Sadly C&C is presently competing with Monty Python and my need to assemble a working Black Knight, so I am not able dive in nearly as much as I would like at this moment. Hello Josh! If you zip up 611 you'll run straight into me!

How does one become an OCCASIONAL zoologist? Is it like my boyfriend, who's only a dendrologist when he gets us lost hiking?
