Hey! I'm Lizzie and I live in Santa Monica. I work as a paralegal by day, but also run a small animal rescue group. We have 2 cats and, as of right now, 5 foster kittens from the shelter. My husband and I love puzzle games - mostly of the iPad or video game variety. An ad for this came up on Facebook and I was curious. My brother and sister-in-law also love this kind of stuff, so I was thinking of buying them an experience. And then...I got sucked into this entire concept and haven't done any work for the past, oh, 3 hours. I ordered the back issues of Volume 3 and subscribed. For myself. Forget my brother and sister-in-law.

Hey Everyone! I'm Jo, a native Floridian, a budding anthropologist (of the biological variety), and really green when it comes to C&C. I discovered Mysterious Package Company while searching for some ARGs I could participate in. I've completed the Weeping Book experience and I'm saving up for my next one (being a full time student has its financial downfalls.) I've been utterly consumed with this for the past two days straight (I didn't get very far until I had some help from a friend) but now I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Hi, I'm Craig, currently living in Lincolnshire UK and bumped into this company courtesy of a recommendation on Emily Short's blog some time ago - the boxes talked about looked so much like those in The Room on iOS that I couldn't help but be intrigued. I'm old enough now that looking for something unusual and interesting appeals greatly, and I was always a fan of the Infocom feelies back in the day. Just dipped my toes in with Curios and Conundrums 3.2 (and yes it looks like 3.1 will have to be ordered shortly and a subscription for 3.3 onwards put in) - slightly put off with the high cost of postage to Britain (but can't find anything similar locally, so...) which means I'm picking and choosing what I go for quite carefully.

I've been around for a couple of months but only just noticed the introductions thread. Oops. I currently live in Canada with my kids (2) and dogs (2). On a clear day I can see the mountains from my house. I signed up for MPC as soon as I learned about it. I have always loved puzzles. As a child my father would entertain me when I was bored by giving me words to anagram. The old GAMES magazine came out when I was in grade 3, and I bought every issue. The cryptograms were always my favourite. I haven't really done a lot of puzzles in a while, so this is sort of me getting back into it. I am really enjoying volume 3 of C&C so far. Other things I do in my spare time include, reading, baking, and coaching roller derby. Random fun facts: my father was a zoo curator so I more or less really did grow up in a zoo, I got bored with my career at one point so I took a few years off to start my own chocolate company, and yes, I really do have a PhD. Oh, also, my kids and I have recently discovered geocaching and are totally addicted to it. I'm really enjoying being a part of this community. Everyone has been so helpful and supportive.

Hi all! Taking a quick break from Vol 2, Issue 2 crossword to wave at the collective and share a bit of personal lore. My love of mysteries and puzzling started when I was about 6 and my grandmother gave me my first Nancy Drew book. Hooked! And, joy of joys!.....my mispent youth was spent rolling the D&D dice while hacking and slashing my way through one campaign after another! Hooked! Fast forward to the glow of green emitting from the brand new Apple II and a new game called, "Zork." In BASIC. Hooked! This all evolves into many, many, MANY countless hours/days/weeks/lifetimes in front of a dizzying array of the latest, greatest, bestest, newest computers and the equally latest, greatest etc MUD/MUSH/MMORPGs. Hooked! Closer to the current era was a total love fest with Skyrim. Give me a story line with a mystery and a challenge, and I am right there with ya, baby!
Oh!...and that lovely, kind, amusing grandmother who started it all? Her name was Roselina. I have used her nomiker as my character's name in every game I have played which involved a character build. I salute you, Nana!
And now, back to business...(razzle, frazzle 16 down.....)
Sidenote: What has attracted me most to C&C is the hands on, tactile, old school style of working with all the bits and bobs. While I am playing catch up at the moment, I did order everything I could, so the latest C&C is also in my hands complete with all the curios and it was so much fun to open it and handle everything and wonder, wonder....To whomever thought this up - BRILLIANT! And I sure wish I'd thought of it first... ;-)

Hello, My brother and myself are 13 months apart. We spent a lot of time with out grandparents where we would spend the night downstairs in their basement. Our "Pap" loved mystery, the paranormal, and the extraordinary. He also collected coins, and ALWAYS had a puzzle out on his desk in the basement. Can you imagine the coins, puzzles, magnifying glasses, not to mention the man attended engineering school and could build/fix just about anything in our family business. This is of course where my interest in the mysterious began. When he unfortunately passed away, it took months to find things like safety deposit box keys, and countless other important things. He hid everything. My father still claims we didn't find a stash of coins, that he just can't find them.... Of course my brother and myself took it upon ourselves to search every nook and cranny, every book and desk drawer.... then we began checking the entire basements drop down ceiling, inspecting ever "panel" (the entire basement is wood paneling). We found so many interesting things that even my grandmother was curious about, but never that last stash of coins and trinkets...... One day when grandma was in Florida I decided to start looking around again. I checked her closet finally and found a small door just big enough to crawl through behind all the coats. i opened the door and could see nothing because of how dark it was but i didn't have to reach in far to touch the wall on the other side. I pulled out my phone and lit the small "room" up. There I found a house exaust fan on one side, and thought oh I know where we are, but then saw built into the wall a make-shift ladder made out of 2x4's. Of course, an "attic" door lay across the end of the ladder. I crawled up with minor excitement of what could be up there. As i struggled to open it, I peeked up through the door... Even with my phone I could not see the walls of the attack, So I had to crawl all the way up... as I looked around the attic was completely empty.... except for a single cardboard box that lay in the corner. As i tip-toed up to my very own mysterious package, I couldn't calm my nerves.... I grabbed the box, and What I found i truly never expected to find........ Nothing. There was not one item in the box. It was an empty upside down box. Yes by now your shoulders are most likely hanging a bit lower on your body, head hung low as well... Just like me when i flipped that empty box over. I have not found this stash to this day.... I will not stop searching but had always decided to leave SOMETHING behind for my children should the day come that I have any. The mysterious package company has given me that something. The house I know own I am literally in the process of building a false bookcase if you will.... It will not be deep, but it will contain my Curios and Conundrum issues, everything I need to read them (Which I do not even have yet so any advice on needed supplies would be greatly appreciated) and any experiences I purchase for myself. I know that this won't be my "forever" home either but still feel that the bookcase will offer joy to whomever I sell this house to. That is essentially... my introduction.

Mr Gallerani here. First name Robert. I am a game designer by profession, working for one of the larger companies for nearly 16 years now. I joined MPC for the puzzles and ciphers and was not disappointed. I also got to know a lot of great people who share my interests in riddles. I find myself in the chat room at nearly all hours of the day, either lurking or actually chatting. I live in upstate New York and have a wife and two lovely daughters. I enjoy black smithing, cocktail creation, and too many other hobbies to count.

I love upstate NY. If only it could have successfully split from downstate I might have retired there instead of Kansas.

Yikes! I've been prowling and observing around here for such a long time, didn't even realize there were introductions being had!
My name is Tiffany, and I'm born and raised in Wisconsin (I believe I saw another fellow Wisconsinite on here). I've always been a rather introverted individual, but I love puzzles and anything that makes me dig deeper for more information, learning is a huge passion of mine, and the more I can discover the happier I am. I managed upon the MPC via a facebook ad and I have to admit, their little 'application' was such a delight that I practically squealed when I got the 'approved' email back. I can't quite express my happiness at finding so many like minded people involved in the MPC experiences, and I'm glad to be counted among all of you fellow sleuths.
My hobbies include some fictional writing (As a graduate of Criminal Justice and Law I have a penchant for crime/mystery themes), drawing, reading, and the occasional RPG video game or two.
Salutations to you all!
