Issues of C&C which come with ephemera are usually shipped with tracking, are they not? There is a shipping number also listed on my account, but nothing has been shipped yet. My mistake -- the last one came USPS with tracking (but that's the first time, near as I can tell). At least it means there's some ephemera in there I tried the tracking number, whatever it is hasn't actually been shipped yet. The shipping number was generated, but the package hasn't actually shown up at a USPS facility.

I might easily be mistaken about the tracking for C&C issues.

Yes mine too is in the "here's the number but it hasn't shipped yet" phase. I assume its because they were mass printing the labels and they won't ship out till Monday. That or they were dropped at post office end of week but haven't been scanned as incoming.

I checked, my last issue of Curios & Conundrums has been shipped with Canada Post; so maybe tracking is included with USPS mail and would incur additional cost with Canada Post overseas mail.

I live in the US and all my packages from MPC start out showing Canada Post. After a few days (as long as up to a week!) it shows USPS post with tracking. So be patient, give it a few days and look again. I bet it changes. Unless you are in fact, in Canada.

The tracking information is still being transmitted to Canada Post at that point, and I do not receive separate DHL tracking information. Nevertheless, the only shipments I have received so far that have been shipped with tracking were the two crates from Tempus Fugit and The Century Beast as well as the Inner Circle Membership Kit. All the issues of Curios and Conundrums, the Membership Handbook and the Arcane Seal were shipped without tracking and went from Canada Post to Deutsche Post (who are the primary mail carrier in Germany).

The tracking numbers that start out 940 are USPS tracking numbers, the Canadian ones start with two letters, like LC. My account shows older mailings with tracking numbers that were Canadian and all the newer tracking numbers, like the Century Beast crate, the most recent C&C, and whatever they're sending us as the 9th mailing of Century Beast have real USPS tracking numbers.
My understanding is that they started using a mailing service in the US (stuff is trucked to the US depot just over the border, then sent USPS) because it was less expensive and also faster than CanadaPost for US customers, plus they don't have to do customs declarations for anything that isn't paper that they might be sending. I think the mailing labels, including the USPS tracking numbers, are generated at the MPC Sanctum Sanctorum before they are trucked to the US, which explains the delay from the tracking number being generated and actually being able to track the package.
There was some joking about them sending the Canadian mailings thru the US depot as well, but I think that really was just joking...

Ah. I spent a couple years in Germany when I was in the AF. But it was eons ago, before the internet was a "thing" for anybody except governments and Universities. So I wasn't trying to track any mail at the time. Good luck! I hope your package somehow manages to get to you as quickly as possible with no delays.

For what it's worth, my reveal letter for The King in Yellow was sent with a tracking number last month, so it might just be the newspaper. We'll have to wait to see though.

I hope your package somehow manages to get to you as quickly as possible with no delays. Thank you, it actually arrived nine days later. I loved the idol, too!
Regarding the carvings around the base of the statue: I found the one widdershins from the front somewhat inscrutable. Does it depict the Beast devouring the warriors?
I also found it interesting that the Valknut symbol and the bird motif make a reappearance. From what I can tell, nordic mythology has quite a few birds; the ravens Hugin and Munin come to mind, and apparently the Valknut has been linked to Odin as well. I am also very much looking forward to the newspaper. I wonder if Sarah managed to survive the Beast and return, or if she never made it out to sea at all.
A stray observation about the meaning of the additional piece in the Bespoke Crate:
Dikemark Hospital seems to house some of the most dangerous criminals in Norway - pretty much all references on the internet refer to some mentally ill murderer being sent there, and the Norwegian Wikipedia entry refers to the grounds as "heavily fortified". Did Sarah kill the people she hired to fight the Beast? Or did the Beast take them, and Sarah was the last survivor because she carried the Solveig's protective ward?
Curiously enough, the english Wikipedia entry about Dikemark refers to it as a "former" psychiatric hospital, and at least some of the buildings seem to have become a favourite among Urban Explorers and Amateur photographers, indicating that the site is now defunct. If that is the case, when exactly did Sarah send all these letters? So far I was under the impression that the story was unfolding while the Experience played out.
There is also mention of a museum at the former hospital, although I cannot tell if the museum and the modern Dikemark psychiatric hospital existed at the same time, or if the museum is a recent institution.
This would be much easier if I understood Norwegian.

I also looked up the hospital on the address label. Sounded like a place I didn't want to visit!
Reveal letter with a tracking number? Is that the first time we've heard that? I think so.
