Was there any indication where that happened? In any case, if memory serves, there used to be reports in the Sitting Room claiming the Curator had broken pieces replaced free of charge, so if the contents of your crate have been damaged, this might be worth an inquiry. Apart from that, it might be prudent to compare the contents with those of another recipient of the same level - maybe you are missing items!

Considering what we paid, it is hard to imagine at this point how The Century Beast could justify its price in relation to the other Experiences. Must remain hopeful. Must remain hopeful. Genii... I received mine today. I'd love to compare what was in my crate to yours... I was Diamond level... my crate arrived broken and open. And I am sad to say my time with the company may be at it's end. My crate... let's just say I'm very disappointed. I hold hope you higher levels have a better experience. This makes me sad. Well, all I can say is that the crate really isn't a satisfying end to the story. As for the prestige artifact, I think it's prestige the same way the earlier one was elaborate, ykwim?

Mine arrived also, sent 2 day Priority, with a label that wasn't the MPC. I haven't opened the box yet - lot going on here (sick kitty etc). Its not huge, doubt I'll need a crow bar, strong butter knife should do it. But I'm still excited and am waiting for a quiet moment so that I can truly savor it.

Oooh, see what I did there?!

I will say, my fiance absolutely loved the artifact. He was originally going to put it on a bookshelf, but was so thrilled with it, that he took it to work today to keep on his desk.
I'm excited to receive the newspaper epilogue, since he thinks the crate was our final mailing. One more surprise mailing will hopefully give the story some more closure. We spent a good period of time yesterday reminiscing receiving each mailing, and how the story all fit together.

Oooh, see what I did there?! To me, although I love the artifact, this crate was very underwhelming. Given every other experience has more than just the final artifact in it, I don't see how this one can boast a price tag they doubles the others. And what about the two online puzzles? We only know of one and there is no academic website. Unless the article was supposed to be it. I can't help but feel robbed here as a Diamond level. And everyone above that level, I can only imagine. I hope the C&C makes this worth all the delays and cost.

I hope my wife's crate arrives in good condition the Gallant

Much like the experience as a whole, I enjoyed the crate and its contents but did not find it overwhelming.

Once I am inevitably disappointed (based on the recent posts) for the finale of the experience for my wife, is there anywhere with high visibility that I can leave a review. I feel like this experience was misrepresented at several points along the way, and I want the company held accountable with consumer reviews.

Apart from the fact that not seems to be as disappointed as you expect to be - and the post by selene gives me hope that disappointment is not as inevitable as that - I would believe that directly approaching the Company might be more appropriate. From what read back in the Sitting Room, The Curator has always been very accomodating towards dissatisfied customers. Besides, the Century Beast is hardly representative of the usual quality of their curated Experiences. It was their first Kickstarter campaign, and true, it shows.
Personally, as someone who intends to send a few more of their Experiences to close friends and family, I would not care for my recipient to find a negative review of their services online, especially if it went into detail about the experience itself.
I do think that engaging the Company directly about discrepancies between what was promised and what was delivered might be the most promising course of action.

I will go through the company first.I would also not want to spoil an experience, perhaps just the rating for the overall interaction with the company. So far the Curator has been less than helpful in my multiple correspondences with him. We shall see, indeed. the Gallant edit: I should also add that because I bought it for retail, not as KS, I expected it to be the same quality as the other experiences.

I think it is perfectly reasonable to have expected this experience to be at least as good as, if not better, than the company's other offerings. I've sent two to other people and was pleased by their reactions as well as the type of objects they received. Fact is, this one is not up to those standards by any stretch of the imagination, and the fact that it's their first Kickstarter is hardly an excuse in my opinion.

Well, there can be no doubt that they did not do themselves a favour by promoting the Experience the way they did, and the retail price certainly is on the steep side compared to the other Experiences.
I did however like most of the mailings, and the audio parts were a great touch in my opinion. The Playa del Carmen, fairy tale and GNARLSPUTRESCENT mailings were my personal favourites - having not yet seen the artifact, I cannot comment on the eighth mailing yet. At the kickstarter rate I am still satisfied with the Experience.
As for how much one would allow their handling of the crowdfunding as an excuse, that is certainly up to every member to decide for themselves. But there can be no doubt they were somewhat overwhelmed by the response.
I am looking forward to see how they will handle the release of the Ceiba Tree. I see how after the difficulties with the Century Beast people may be wary to take their chances with another preorder now, but I expect that the Company have also learned a great deal during this time and may just be able to rebuild the trust their members used to place in them before the kickstarter campaign.
