I took a look at my Accounts page and noted that my 8th mailing, which will be the crate, now has a tracking number. The date given for mailing is long passed: June 9. ("Long" being a relative term.) Clicking on the tracking number reveals that there is no record of it in Canada Post, so it hasn't been mailed yet.
My 9th mailing is listed as June 16 (Epilogue or Reveal).
The 10th mailing is listed as July 7 (Epilogue or Reveal).

The 8th is the crate? So basically two epilogues?

The 8th is the crate? So basically two epilogues? The Epilogue will be the special issue of Curios & Conundrums; the other mailing would be The Reveal.

Actually, I thought that the transition from the last mailing to the crate was the one point during the experience that would not allow for another mailing in between - in fact, since the last mailing was the only one to hint at the next one, I felt that this was the one time where the shipping delay was a bit problematic within the narrative. Provided it ends the way I expect it will, that is.

Provided it ends the way I expect it will, that is. I don't know. There could have been some letter/evidence of something that happened or was done, a report of being on the run, maybe newspaper clippings and a desperate plea of "I don't know what to do with this thing" or dark hints of what "the thing" was doing to Sarah once in her possession. THEN the crate arrives. Either way, the delays are just killing this experience and are the reason I am not really considering the new experience they just announced.

Fair enough. I suppose those revelations are supposed to be part of the crate mailing, with the aftermath being revealed in the newspaper epilogue.
What I'm missing is a hint as to why she chose to contact the recipient in the first place...
Well, judging from what The Genii said, it won't be long now. I'm really excited for this finale, this will make or break the Experience for me.

Considering what we paid, it is hard to imagine at this point how The Century Beast could justify its price in relation to the other Experiences. Must remain hopeful. Must remain hopeful.

Well, the kickstarter Diamond level pledge was very reasonably priced - at roughly $ 270,- I cannot really complain. Of course, the Bespoke level pledges have yet to deliver on their promises, and I would probably be hesitant to purchase the Century Beast at its current retail price.

I really don't feel it's worth it even at that price. Maybe I would have felt a little better if the mailings came with some degree of consistency so the story had a little flow/rhythm to it. But even at the Diamond price this has been a letdown thus far. That could change with the crate, I suppose, but I didn't love the mailings I had even if there is some promise to them and I enjoyed elements of them. This is why I haven't bought Ceiba Tree, which otherwise strongly appeals to me base on the description. Thing is, I didn't put in my "ticket" for Century Beast right away and when I read about the delays in the "official" forum I held off a month or so in hopes it would be corrected by the time I started mine. Instead, they hurried along some early mailings and at some point I ended up on pretty much the same schedule as everyone else here.

Tracking shows I'll have the 8th mailing here today. I'll also have my Mother around the house and an AC guy giving my unit its annual service appointment. I'll have to decide if I want to freak them out or save the experience to savor alone.

I'll have to decide if I want to freak them out or save the experience to savor alone. So at least some of the crates have been shipped? I may have to confess to my brother my (long suspected) involvement in this then - it would ahrdly be fair to let him sort out customs all by himself.

I received mine today. I'd love to compare what was in my crate to yours... I was Diamond level... my crate arrived broken and open. And I am sad to say my time with the company may be at it's end. My crate... let's just say I'm very disappointed. I hold hope you higher levels have a better experience. This makes me sad.
