There's a lot of creative and cool stuff going on. But you can't play without an internet connection.

Somewhat annoying: went to my local Target tonight and it was nowhere in sight, not even listed on the shelves or anything. However, the LA Dodgers won their first championship in 32 years while I was in the store and there was a small in store celebration which was fun, so not all bad.

Haha yeah I looked at the online link and saw it wasn't at the target nearest me, but there are some at a target about 10 miles away so I might make the trip tonight.

Finished. I can't say much - but I recommend this. Or at least go in on it with some friends if $30 seems steep, but you are supposed to play it solo.

i just ordered this for a Christmas present. I am giving it to a 17 year old that likes ciphers and puzzles. If anyone has any reservations about gifting this to a teen - please let me know. It is hard to Keep kids interested in anything while they are being kept apart from friends due to covid.

It is hard to Keep kids interested in anything while they are being kept apart from friends due to covid. I think a 17 year old would find this fun. My partner is admittedly not as much into puzzles as I am and he worked through BoxONE and enjoyed it. Given the amount of money I've spent on other games/puzzles/experiences that he has given the minimum "oh... cool..." to, that's pretty high praise haha

Production quality was definitely fantastic, although I was hoping for a longer game for the purchase price. Hopefully there will be a Box Two at some point.

Just finished this about an hour ago and highly enjoyed it. Very much worth getting even if the puzzles aren't a challenge for experienced solvers; the box design/quality and overall experience is excellent from start to finish. This would be a great way to introduce puzzles to someone for sure.
This inspired me to get the NPH playing cards from theory11, which also have puzzles attached to them (apparently some of which are quite tough).

And if you didn't consider buying them before, you'll have a few opportunities to be nudged in that direction

Anyone else doing the playing cards? I have reached a point where I'm officially stuck, but I don't want to google and find spoilers.
