Got the cards and solved it in about 15 minutes? They're pretty, so there's that, but was a little let down at how short it was and how little the cards were used.

I sent you a PM with a hint request.

Well, it took me a great deal longer than 15 minutes, since I got stuck on it a couple of days ago and only now completed it (with a hint from centaurofattn). I was also expecting a good deal more depth to it, and am surprised it ended when it did. It seems like there was a lot of opportunity to go deeper and involve the cards a good deal more. I also found one of the clues a bit misleading, but that's probably because of my background.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed by the cards, though I thought the puzzles were solid (and one of them I will confess I sort of guessed the answer to based on inference from the other puzzles). It was very short and as said earlier barely used the cards themselves, but the puzzles are also not the main point of the cards (I think of them more as a fun bonus to a beautiful deck of playing cards).
Box One is much better than the cards, and I wouldn't really recommend the cards if you enjoyed Box One, but if you need a nice deck of cards, it doesn't hurt to have some puzzles attached to them.

Sad note for everyone doing the NPH playing card puzzles - Theory11 ran out of prizes a year or two ago. So, there may be shinies promised at the end, but that Mysterious Package™ will never come.

My Box One has been stuck in USPS shipping hell since Nov 8th. Maybe it'll get here in time to be a Christmas present to myself. I tried contracting the MIT puzzle hunt team to investigate the Royal Mail website and find an actual email address that you can submit queries to. They said even they have their limits.
