All right, it may be on the late side, but I'm going to go ahead and mail mine in. It will be interesting to see if I get a response because my application was, in today's parlance, snarky AF. (For the "high quality photo," I drew a stick figure wearing a hat. To illustrate the poem, I drew the OSS symbol. For each of the spatial reasoning questions, I added an "E." option, and for one I drew the MPC lamppost and for one I drew the SZ symbol. When asked if I would reveal an infidelity, I said that "I confide only in Bernard," etc. etc.). This sounds almost exactly like mine but with more C&C references. Oh, that's only a small fraction of my answers (the ones I remembered off the top of my head, because I was at work and didn't have the application in front of me). I pretty much threw a C&C reference into every single answer on there.

Got my rejection, too, with the discount code for ‘later this fall,’ and specific notes about my responses. We shall see.

Finally returned home to my awaiting letter. The personal bit is as follows:
Your test results are quite intriguing, however. We note that you have a unique method of managing clusters of clowns. That you initially only identify animals by the binary options of "living" or "dead" suggests that you are logical and observant. And you are the only applicant so far to have answered #I6 correctly.
I wish I had made a copy of my application as well - did anyone save the PDF?

HA! Well, the form doesn't even look familiar to me. I can't remember my answers to most of them.

I answered "inventory", because that's what I would normally do in those situations.

I feel like I may have just left it blank haha. Like "this was a good tiny story. Nothing more here"

Well, it's very belated, but I'm sending my application in today. I made a copy of it before I packaged it up, if anybody is interested in seeing my snark. And on the back of the envelope, I wrote "Where is the Curator?", "Justice for Andrew!" and (in Morse code) "Are you there, Bernard?"
We'll see what (if any) response I get...

Received my application (postmarked April 5) back today, unopened and labeled Return to Sender/Not Deliverable As Addressed/Unable to Forward
The Canadian Post sticker is marked Moved/Unknown
Oh well. I suppose I had fun filling out the form.

I suppose I had fun filling out the form. That's odd, as they just used MPC's regular mailing address for the applications, and it's a Post Office Box.

What kind of shady, fly-by-night Detective Agency can't maintain a permanent mailing address? On a more serious note, has MPC closed their Post Office box?

It's more likely, if it just has the Canada Post sticker on it and no handwriting saying return to sender, they got a moved, return to sender service on the Global Detective Agency. So anything addressed to GDA through the postal service would automatically be sent back. Anything else sent to the same place but addressed to anyone/anywhere else can still go through.
