I've got the first few months now, the art is gorgeous. I've opened up the first three - got stuck in the middle of the first month, solved the second one fine, and I'm working on the third one still. Each month so far has been very different, but you do need to solve the puzzles in sequence within the month.

I also found this recently and signed up. Good to see other people are interested in this too. I solved 0.2 and 0.3, but got stuck partway through 0.1. Anyone else stuck on 0.1 and want to share some ideas? (I briefly have looked at 0.4 and 0.5, but trying to finish out 0.1 before doing those)

OK, I'll bite. 0.1 (i) A simple substitution cipher giving you four letters thanks to the clue, resulting in a letter of the alphabet to carry forwards (ii) The answer to (i) tells you which path to follow. (iii) The kingdom all the clues are relevant to is the answer from (ii). The answer here is formed by the seven letter column which is the only column appearing in all answers. (iv) and (v) What you do with these is told to you by the answer to (iii). You might say, OK I've done that and what next, to which I say you are expressly told to find four things, the components of the spell. Puzzle (vi) has pictures of twelve things. Perhaps those four things are actually amongst the twelve. (vii) Have you held the page up to the light? Doesn't that look like a grid pattern? Have we been given co-ordinates perhaps earlier on?

So where I'm stuck is on (v)/(vii) I got a secret message for iv which told me which 4 items I'd need. I think I've identified which 4 items it is referring to in (vi), so I don't see what to use the secret message in (v) for. Past this, I assumed I use the coordinates of the 4 items I identified on the grid in (vii), but what then? There doesn't seem to be anything I can cleanly extract with that.

Well let's take it a step at a time: which four objects do you think you have? The four lines are: The fingers of she who weeps and withers The bitter bright dust of her long dried out tears The sound of her voice as it rings through the branches The clothes of a friend she once reached out to dearly

The four items I had been using in order are bones, salt, bell, feather Three out of four are correct - bones is not The key word of that line of the spell is weeps When you have the four co-ordinates then These are in the format (x,y), so the first number is across the bottom, the x-axis; the second number is up the side, the y-axis. You may know this already, but belt and braces, assume nothing! each box gives you one complete word...there are four words in the answer...and the phrase which results does make sense, it's the start of a much longer well-known puzzlw

So with that, I have now completed the first 5 mailings.

Wanna talk about 0.3 then (i) Straightforward choice, left or right pillar "Nothing is left, Make the right choice" - means choose the right pillar? (ii) Previous choice points to BAT - blind your eyes and listen well, which ties in with the description of the next puzzle (iii) So identify the missing phrases and... Use them in puzzle vi perhaps? The eight are what: Shot, Quay, Synth, Ways, Li, Dent, Sun, Shove I admit to being unsure of most of these! (iv) Well.... Quay would seem to imply Key, but the rest mean nothing to me...and I imagine this and (iii) are essential for v and vi too... Any suggestions?

Quay would seem to imply Key, but the rest mean nothing to me...and I imagine this and (iii) are essential for v and vi too... Any suggestions? (iii) So for this one I'll be honest and didn't fully solve. I got shot, quay, synth, ways, tan, dent, earth (picture looks like a moon and earth), adore. The hint from (ii) led me to believe this was a mad gab and you had to say the words out loud to get what they actually meant. This is where I fell apart, I couldn't get much of anything except with tan, dent, earth, adore I read as "and enter the door" which seemed like a semi plausible partial answer. Using this I figured that the full phrase was probably referencing the keys in (iv). From here you'll wan't to use the phrase cut and rearrange for (v).
EDIT: So I didn't understand your comment about quay implying key until just now. I never knew that word was pronounced 'key', I always thought it was 'kway'. With that information I decided to try and decipher the rest of the message and now believe the first answer is fined. This would make the message "Find keys in the waste and enter the door" which I think is the correct answer as (iv) mentions picking through the wreckage.
