For the past several years, my wife and I have thrown a themed summer party. These parties have become increasingly elaborate in both theme and puzzle activities. Last year (2017), the theme of our summer party involved time-travellers, who are invited to a secret meeting that happens periodically when there is a alignment of all the time-streams in the multiverse. Here's a write-up of the event, with descriptions of most of the puzzles. docs.google.com/document/d/1qyGP6-FEAHYjp8OloTNW6wl1N284y8yM9LnXPiTe5Uw/edit?usp=sharingYou may notice one particular puzzle which has a familiar name and technique for solving. I borrowed puzzle ideas left and right, but one completely original puzzle (and the one that I am most proud of creating) was Total Eclipse. All our attendees had a blast, both with the role-playing and puzzles. My experience was that creating puzzles and watching people get excited while solving them is even more fun than solving them myself. I'm already working on this year's party.

OH MY GOD!!! THIS LOOKS PERFECT!! And all the time pieces and decorations are so great. Total eclipse is a fun puzzle. The blue LED illumination is very atmospheric. I love such puzzles, this is why I can't wait for Simulacra Games to finish their Wilson Wolfe Affair.
It must be so intriguing and wonderful to host such an elaborate party. Wish I had more friends around who actually share my interests.

I should also point out that if anyone wants to do a similarly themed party, they are welcome to re-use any of the puzzles and background materials I created. Just contact me if you're interested and I can share some of the source files.
