I did Disney's Ghost Post. It was a lot of fun, though the fact that certain elements refused to work was frustrating. And if you think communication with MPC customer service are bad, Disney's was much worse (as in, virtually none). You did end up with a lot of great artifacts, but since the entire experience was based upon an app that no longer works with current smartphones, it had a very short half life. One of the things that becomes evident when you compare the experiences of the MPC and Disney's Ghost Post is how much more technological muscle Disney was able to build into their product. There were only 999 sets of Ghost Post sold, and at $200 each Disney likely lost money on the project, but they are interesting to compare with the MPC. Each box included a "vintage" newspaper very much like C&C, but without the puzzle aspect. Here is some more information: www.mjdinteractive.com/work/retail-mobile-web-park/

Just got the crate. The artifact was not what I was expecting, but it fits perfectly with the narrative, and I quite like it. I think I need to get a stand of some kind for it, though, as it's not as stable freestanding as I would like.
Now I need to go do the aforementioned action mentioned on the first page as well. This feels like DJ all over again!
Edit: And now that I've done the thing (which was very satisfying), I appreciate that it confirms the solution to the activity in the second mailing.

Another negative change for us Europeans. Whichever way they had to send parcels MPC had before has changed again. I didn't have to get my last 4 experiences from customs. Now both of the new ones are stuck there. Hopefully I get the right girl to work my case. Then I won't have to pay for anything.

I fast talked the customs guy and didn't have to pay a cent. Sometimes life is good!

I got one of those dreaded 'missed delivery' cards this morning... I'm hoping it's this... I'm going to sweet talk the guys at the post depot after work.

It's a pity you folks outside the US get royally screwed on the customs charges.

It helps to have an all in one box option - so we only get hit once. But the larger box probably gets the attention of the customs agents.... so maybe not. So far smaller boxes (like dispatch) seem to go through ok. I wish more of these would stick to envelopes though.

The post office is so particular about envelopes. If it's at all too rigid (like cardstock or a folder) or too thick (even a small bump) it could get flagged as a package and either returned or you have to pay the difference to get it. I almost had to pay packaging prices on a small envelope because it contained string. I got them to take it though, thankfully.

Would anyone be willing to send an image of the artifact? Would consider buying but like to have a preview of the items so I know if it is something I am going to display or hide in a box.

Many thanks. Still on the fence but partially due to just buying two experiences last month (also shipping being what it is but that is discussed elsewhere).

If you like ancient Egypt at all, get this. Was a dream come true for me. The last artefact could have been more spectacular. But still I very much enjoyed the journey.
