Both second mailings for Forgotten Tomb and Rise of the Cult were shipped on the same day. I received my Egyptian package last week. Still no sign of the Cult mailing.

Received package #2 here in the UK a few minutes ago.
First thoughts - if this is the way MPC is going out, then they are going out in style. Such a lot of content, plus a cipher to work through. Perhaps the aging is less than convincing, and receiving this plus Tomb plus Filigree in short succession shows a certain commonality in pseudo-aging process and style of mailing, but even so it's living up to its billing as a premium experience.
I almost hate to get my hopes up about the crate...

I actually got this on Friday, but had a ridiculous weekend and haven't been able to dive into it. But from glancing through the materials, this is an incredible mailing, and so far Cult might be my favorite of their Experiences. Sure, the aging's a little unconvincing at times, but it's totally fine, and there's an attention to detail and design here that is extremely impressive. This is also one of their Experiences where I have absolutely no clue what the Artifact could be, which is always fun. Also, though it's a simple thing, I love the engraved ring in this mailing. The cipher also looks really intriguing and the method to figure it out looks quite involved. |

Couple of things on this mailing then, now I've finally got a chance to sort through it and reading everything from #1 and #2 in one go.... The cipher Has anyone started piecing this together yet? It is a straightforward substitution cipher? I find it interesting that some of the symbols appear on the big star map... The star map Haven't seen any chat about using the gear with each of the circles on the map. The letter tells us to align the arrow with the brightest star in each constellation, which I imagine means one of the spikey ones in each circle. Doing this gives me these letters, starting in the top circle and proceeding clockwise: SNT NDV TSA CUL EPI  and in the middle circle SLT Three of these in sequence would give us CULTS AND V... but that might be coincidence! |

Coincidence. You have to do a few things here. One takes a bit of time and squinting and imagining. Finding the constellations, which will fit with one of the 27 "brightest stars" on the map Then you use the tool mentioned in the literature to get something useful. There is an example on one of the documents. If you need more help, feel free to PM me. The last step is where I got stuck on part of the longest strip. I'm thinking it's just words I'm not familiar with. |

A couple of things I noticed: There’s a connection between the symbols on the star map and the logo for The Order of Two Worlds (the sigil is mirrored on the ring. But one symbol seems to be missing)
I’ve made some headway on decoding the encrypted messages, but like Centauriofattn, I’m a little stimied on some of the more unique words. There also seems to be a code in the handwritten note, but I haven’t made any progress on that either. |

I've tried to figure out if there is a code in the handwritten notes - looking at the bolded letters, but I'm getting nothing. Anyone else?

Got mine yesterday. Completed the scavenger hunt. I have some thoughts about how to better approach the cipher, but I'm currently stuck at work and unable to test my theory. Will report back if I have luck (or lack thereof).
