As someone who feels the Experiences are generally somewhat overpriced (for what they are), I'm really sorry to see C&C go. However, I find it odd and disheartening to see that he only "dropped by" here to deliver this news and they haven't bothered to contact their subscriber base. Not good business practice.

I'm hoping that the motivation was to give the die-hard loyal fan base here on the forum a little advanced notice before they send out a mass email to all subscribers. I would like to assume that they wouldn't only post it here...but we will see.

We'll just have to see what "this" is.

I am also waiting to see the next issue that arrives...it could well be they are putting the notice in the issue itself.

Because I know everyone doesn't read every forum here: If you're going to miss C&C at all, I highly recommend you back The Wilson Wolfe Affair. You have about 40 hours left... CLICK HERE

Dammit for noticing this thread with the Wilson Wolfe link. You just made it soooo easy to go and back it. Christmas present to myself I suppose.

I'm in the middle of volume two three now. I'm so sad to hear this news. I just backed Wilson Wolfe Affair. I tried Hunt a Killer, but was very disappointed. I've already done every MPC experience (or they are incoming) except for Vulcan Dragon Tooth. But Curios and Conundrums was something that gave me joy and happiness this year, and changed my life. I am so very sorry to see it go. I'm eager for other recommendations to fill this C&C shaped hole in my heart.

In the meantime I highly recommend on the run by dispatch

On one hand: I'm sad to see the IDEA of C&C go away. On the other hand: I'm relieved that the current version of C&C that we all know and mostly groaned about, is gonna go.
Why I'm kinda worried: A murder mystery box. I say this with no apology--HaK SUCKS. Hopefully MPC knows better not to charge a member $30 for a plastic toy, a few sheets of paper, and crappy puzzles. Why I'm kinda intrigued: A murder mystery box...because maybe MPC can actually make this good?

Kind of worried... not a huge fan of murder-mystery boxes, which is why I really liked C&C. Hopefully it’s still tame rather than a run-of-the-mill offering...

Just received the Countdown to Oblivion issue.
One thing I won't be sad to no longer see is the "prestige collectable", which in most cases just looked like a lump of partially melted metal with very little details. Is it sad that I much preferred the little leather, and metal bits that we used to get in Volume I? There seemed to be more of a story around those.
Oh, no papercraft in this one which is probably a good thing as well.

C&C is already dead to the MPC, and they are just fulfilling financial obligations. Even though the cost includes the papercraft, since everyone hates it, they may have just left it out and spent less on this issue.
