This morning my roommate was packing a box to ship out tomorrow and needed some newspapers to stuff in there. I saw her grab one of my Curios & Conundrum issues and made a sound I wasn't sure was possible before now. I saved it, thankfully, but I realized that a neat stack on my desk might not be the only (or best) way to store the issues, especially since starting with the next shipment I will also have artifacts to hold on to.
How do you all store your discoveries?

Scanning them! Gah! I have access to a copy machine and yet I didn't even consider that hahaha. No longer do I have to re-draw the crosswords. Thanks for helping me realize how simple my solution should have been haha.

My printer is almost out of ink, so I end up mostly having to re-trace them as well if I want hard copies to test the crossword's on.
My next acquisition is going to be a laser printer, so I can print out crosswords at will and never worry about ink again!
I'm really more excited than I should be about getting a laser printer, but I've been planning it for awhile.

As of now I have all my possessions relating to the Mysterious Package Company safely tucked away in a drawer at the bottom of my living room cupboard, but once the time comes when any Experiences I plan to give to people who visit regularly have run their course, I should very much like to put them on Display. The artifacts are, after all, splendid conversation pieces. So maybe an old-fasioned newspaper rack for the issues of Curios & Conundrums, an intriguing looking box for letters, photographs and newspaper clippings... It will be nice to mix up the Curios from the Company with other knick-knack, too.
When it comes to that, I will be back with photographs.

I'm really more excited than I should be about getting a laser printer, but I've been planning it for awhile. I just recently picked up a Brother HL-3170CDW from Amazon, only $150 for a color laser. (It's 240 now, but keep an eye on it, it frequently drops to 140-150) I like it so far.

Very cool, I'll keep an eye on it. Right now I was looking at one of the Brother monochrome models. Hadn't even considered the colored laser printers, but at that price I just might. Beckett, I've converted my gaming room into a mystery room for the moment....just swapping out items on shelves and putting away tabletop stuff, I think that I'll have to add some shelving for permanent display as I complete each C&C or Experience, etc....

I stack the papers on top of my safe, and the Curious are placed in titled envelopes for cataloging purposes and then placed into one of the MPC wooden crates!

I keep my newspaper in a folder tied shut with twin. Though, since the amount of folders is grower with each issue I had to invest in a wooden fruit crate ($1 best price ) to store all of my artifacts and papers.

All my paper and other ephemera including C&C is nicely sorted in labelled manilla envelopes. The crates are stacked. At some point space will become an issue.

Maybe I should start a new thread for this, but as the greenest of greenhorns ... in what ways does everyone conduct research? Do you use google sheets/docs to keep notes or pen(cil) and paper? Mind mups? Padlet? Investigator boards on your walls at home? A combination of all of it? While my investigator board is currently being used for something else and I've yet to find a rhythm, I find myself using a bit of everything, leaving me feel a bit disorganized.. Curious to see what works for others!

Do you have a link to the etsy store for the folders?

I recently acquired an old trunk I'm refinishing. All future items of a mysterious or curious nature shall be stored within.
