A brief forum search didn't yield any helpful results so I'm posting to ask what exactly the reveal message is for an MPC game before I order. Is the reveal message an actual answer/conclusion to a particular game, and your customized personal message gets tacked on? Or is it more along the lines of a follow up postcard after the game has concluded just to give me an opportunity to let them know I was the sender, the gift was from me?
Im looking at ordering The Lost Treasure as a holiday gift for my lady friend's family because I have no idea what to get them and I think a mysterious package is all encompassing and interesting enough to cross them all off of my shopping list in one fell swoop.

"Game" is not really an apt descriptor. "Experience" seems to be better suited.
The reveal is actually text that whom-so-ever orders the experience writes, and this gets transcribed onto a note that is sent to the recipient. So the reveal can be as concise or as obscure as you wish it to be.
Some experiences have provided an epilogue, which sometimes provides something of a conclusion.

The Reveal is a note with some text, and gives a url so the recipient can go online and find out who sent the Experience. At least that's the way mine have always looked.

Ok, so the reveal doesn't inherently have anything to do with the story/events and is a separate message entirely. Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to write something obscure and cryptic!

You and I are definitely thinking along the same lines! I specifically emailed and asked that the MPC not name me and spent hours writing a hint as to my identity in Latin for my family to translate in my reveal letter, but the MPC said that they will not leave out my name in the reveal because it's their policy. Instead, I've printed out the message and will mail it before the actual reveal so that they'll have one more easy puzzle to solve before the reveal actually arrives. Of course, it will be mailed from our city instead of some far off, interesting place, and they will probably have figured out that I'm the one who sent it even before the artifact arrives, but I thought it would be fun anyway. I'm going to age the letter to make it look "mysterious," but I've done that for Hogwarts acceptance letters, treasure maps, and potion bottles already, so my family already knows what I'm capable of making odd looking things. Oh well. It'll still be fun. Now to get the timing of the mailing just right...

You know, I'm not quite sure. I just got an email saying that the first package is in the mail, and I'm hopeful the entire experience will be complete before Christmas since it is actually a Christmas present for my husband. (If not, I'll probably send my own reveal letter before then anyway. He and the kids are definitely going to figure out it's from me as things get more disturbing. Also, I'm a very, very bad liar! ) I think I would worry too much if I took the time to send it to Germany. I am sure that the Deutsch post is much more efficient than the Dutch post that is familiar to me, but you know the nightmare experience I have had with that! Perhaps I can take you up on your very kind offer in future if we decide to send an experience to my sister, brother in law, or father in law? I also want to offer my postal services to you from the not so exotic, but definitely far off Midwest of the U.S. My state is stereotyped as rather boring I'm afraid, but your "victims" might not know that.

"One order of Arizona dust please?" Lol!

Update: EVERYONE eventually figured out the sender was me even before the reveal message for The Weeping Book. I think I’ve planned too many quirky and creepy surprises for the kids, my former students, and my husband on my own. They know me too well. I’m just very happy that I can now purchase experiences instead of going to the trouble to make my own! These have a lot more complicated puzzles and codes than mine did, so it’s very nice now that the kids are older and need more difficult challenges to be able to purchase instead of make them. It makes it more fun for me because I actualky get to help solve them too!
We have yet to complete both of our newest experiences (Risen and The Demon Jar) because neighbor kids have been camped out at our house on weekends demanding that we play D&D in the cold weather, but things will change soon as the weather gets warmer since they all play spring sports. Risen and The Demon Jar may just end up going with us on spring break!
Empty faces just arrived, and I couldn’t wait on that one. My daughter is the biggest puzzler of all of the kids, so I may just do that one with her. I’ve been pretty impressed with the first box!
