A new experience in the air?
Just received an email from the Curator suggesting just that.
"In the meantime, please be advised that something eerie is in progress and shall be announced within a fortnight."

Fortnight is about two weeks, so it'll be a little while before the announcement.

Something eerie might be Filigree in Shadow making it's first public offering. Two weeks is about right because that's about when the Kickstarters who opted into the first shipments will be receiving their crates.
But we've been promised a couple other new experiences, too. A mummy's curse perhaps?

This could also be the public unveiling of Filigree. A fortnight seems a bit early for that, but it could also mean that they're rushing so that people could order it for Halloween.

I'm hoping for a new experience.

I also hope it's something new, but I really wouldn't be surprised it it was Filigree being made public. I think it would be smarter for it to be another LE offering a la the dragon tooth (rip), though. If it's a new Experience, unless they had a really amazing special LE add-on offer, there's pretty much a 0% chance of me ordering with Black Friday coming up so soon. A creepy limited-edition one-shot Experience/item to be delivered in time for Halloween would definitely have my attention.

Personally I don't think they can resist the temptation to release something "Eerie" on Friday the 13th in October

I hadn't considered that it might be Filigree. I'm somewhat deflated now. But here's hoping for something new!

There was an email send out on the 9th hinting at 3 experiences being added to the shop or something along those means. I'm thinking it will be, Filigree, The Vulcan Dragon tooth, and a third new experience, possibly Egyptian/alien

There was an email send out on the 9th hinting at 3 experiences being added to the shop or something along those means. Ah, you're right. The email specifically says: Now I'm wondering, does Filigree count as " brand new"? I'm quite a bit more excited now -- and of course, over thinking. The email mentions an archaeologist, an astronaut, and an artist, "beneath the Earth, above the clouds, or within oneself." Hmmmmmm...

The inference is that, at the very least, there will be two new experiences.

That would be amusingly cool, and I would be all over that.

I seems to me that the MPC first decides on an artifact they can produce at a certain price and then work backward to produce an experience. The problem with an Egyptian/alien theme is that so many toys and souvenirs (both cheap and expensive) of that type have already been produced, what would be in the crate? Alien fetus? I've seen dozens. Piece of Egyptian antiquity? There are a boatload of replicas sold around the world.
Mummy, on the other hand ...

To be a bit fair here, I feel the same way about Filigree in the sense that the experience (so far) has felt very generic to me. Even with the third mailing, which had some really neat and unexpected items in it, the basic concept of Filigree has been done a million times before. I don't think that they're afraid of doing themes that have been done before, but with artifacts that riff on established themes in unexpected ways (see Risen). Similarly, they're good at surprising with their artifacts (for example, John Augur was not at all what any of us could have predicted but it turned out to be really special). With an alien/sci-fi experience, it could be all kinds of crazy, hard to imagine without a story creative items; alien fetus would be generic and not at all what I would expect from them. The trick would be to make something that would not come across as cheap, like say a glowing alien artifact.
