Does anyone recall how often the OSS met? Did they ever say it was every 20 years? I don't remember. Trying to figure out if this a reference back to them or if this is a whole lot of nothing.

We discussed this for a while in the Chat Room this morning.
To the best of my recollection (as jogged by k8 and TheBardess) the OSS had a standing reservation at Delmonico's every year. The one on July 16, 1969 was cancelled for bereavement after the Petroglyphs Park incident. Even if they were only every 20 years, 1969 does not fall in cycle with 2017.
The SZ met at the Waldorf Astoria, and a few days prior to August 3, 1911, Horace McCabe was arrested for disrupting their meeting. We know they hold events regularly, but I don't know that an interval was specified. However, the menu curio included with the issue was apparently from their previous event. It has the last two digits of the date obscured by a drop of wine (I hope it's wine...) but it clearly starts with "April 23, 19-" so it was much more recent than 20 years before their meeting in late July or early August 1911.
But the MPC Curator (as opposed to the OSS Curator) has always made reference to "those to whom I report..." It's possible there is a third party at play, or that it's just part of the manufactured marketing mystique.

Perhaps it's just me, but this really made me see the magic of how pricing affects a consumer. Somehow I would rather pay MORE and see 249.99 than 232.99. It's just odd to look at haha

It's just odd to look at haha Perhaps there is some Evil Genius level intent going on there. With both Brain Butchers and the first mailing of Filigree in Shadow estimated to mail this month on the 25th, perhaps they want to discourage purchases that will distract them from meeting their estimates.

Unless you choose to have them withhold Filigree and send it later... (...what?! Who wanted this?!)

Unless you choose to have them withhold Filigree and send it later... (...what?! Who wanted this?!) I thought the same at first, and then re-considered that it might not be a bad idea to delay it so that it happens later in October, closer to Hallowe'en. I don't think I'd want to chance that for a very possible delay on the artifact though.

I received yet a second email from the MPC asking me if I wanted to delay Filigree. That's even stranger.
