It's still Sunday here in Kansas. I suspect it takes some time for even automated systems to "scan and ship" over 700 boxes. At least that is what I am telling myself. And I never bet the USPS works on any given Sunday.

I think I figured it out. I ordered the additional puzzle via backer kit when I got the survey. So far my bank account has not been charged for the extra addition to my box. So I am thinking that folks who bought the extra puzzle via backer kit had to have their boxes pulled from the line to add the additional puzzle. We will likely go out in a second shipment. Once I see the charge go thru I’ll start looking for it to be shipped. At least that gives me a reasonable explanation.

That was my first thought too. But I'm pretty sure we are too late to change it now. Sigh.

Mine appeared at my house today. I actually doubted this day would ever arrive. Wheee... I hope the other two eventually make it as well...

Pulling items ready for shipment out in order to put a postcard in the box is not good business. What they will likely do is mail the cards, postcards, and stickers separately. I assume ... because that would be good business.
EDITED TO ADD: All additional puzzles are shipped separately. So says my backerkit receipt.
Cipher Lock Stickers SHIPS SEPARATELY - Antique
Qty: 1 x $1.99
Cipher Lock Postcards- SHIPS SEPARATELY - plain white
Qty: 1 x $8.99
Cipher Lock Greeting Cards- SHIPS SEPARATELY - blank white
Qty: 1 x $10.99

My backer kit account shows no shipment yet from ADC. Just FYI. I think it will ship on the 22nd like C&C. But, just my gut feeling. That settled it. I went into my backerkit account and clicked "track a shipment" under Armchair Detective and it should be delivered on Wednesday. I'm looking at my backerkit page for Armchair Detective, which shows everything purchased, shipping address, etc. But there is no button to click for "track a shipment."

thegenii, What Craig and I did upgrade our case #117 to the the XTRA edition. This requires them to include "an extra puzzle tucked inside" Solution of this puzzle allows access to more internet content. We aren't talking about the cipher locks at all. But thanks for trying to cheer us up. when I go to my backerkit account, across the top I see the words: Projects; All; Needs Attention; Shipped. But mine is a "backer" account, not a "seller" account.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. Still don't see a way to track it.

And this is where ADC is dropping the communications ball. I admit I'm no longer the sharpest knife in the drawer. And I had to mull things over to come up with an explanation that made sense. It would have been easier on everyone if ADC had just posted an update saying "Those of you.....". But no. They left us in the dark, wondering what was going on. Perhaps not intentionally. Maybe they thought the explanation was so obvious it did not need clarification. But that is equally obviously not true.

And they should've forewarned us - adding this to your order will result in you being put to the back of the queue....

So did anyone open their box up yet? We are waiting for Christmas. I did check that the box itself was in good shape since exterior shipping box was damaged. All seemed ok. Without glancing at too much I didn't see a key inside the box to open it up. Hope this isn't something they forgot, as we will be very sad come Christmas morning!

I have not opened mine yet but the box DID come with a key to the lock. I was rattling the shipping materials and it fell out. It was not attached to the box nor in the lock.
