I'm shopping for a new bookcase/cabinet thing to store my MPC experiences in. However, some of them I have yet to purchase and some of them are in mid experience so I don't know the distance between shelves I should be looking at. So my strange question that might help others is: what are the dimensions of the crates or artifacts themselves that would be helpful to take into account if someone wanted to display them. I'm looking at the Billy Bookcase at IKEA with glass doors, which has the ability to add extra shelves if you wanted, though the purpose of this information is just in case I need to make a shelf taller and
I will start with mine as examples of how to not be spoilery for other eyes. I am going to say what is most helpful is the higher end of possible display:
Weeping Book - Not sure about the crate, but artifact would fit on most bookshelves easily. If you were to display it at it's tallest, it would be about 9" tall
Demon Jar - crate has longest side of 12". The artifact is about 8" tall
I already know from some light spoilers that at least one of the aspects of John Augur will need to be outside of the case, but that's fine. I'm actually excited about that.

The artifacts from Risen!, The King in Yellow and The Century Beast stand no taller than 12" each. As I do not have immediate access to the artifacts, I cannot provide exact measurements, though.

I now have a complete set of the available artifacts and would be happy to take a picture of them all next to each other tonight and PM it to you if that would help. I can also measure them. The crates all seem to be roughly the same size.
I did try to pose the artifacts on a cabinet last night, so I know roughly how tall each of them are in relation to each other. The Century Beast's description on the MPC site says that it stands over 10 inches tall (so I'd guess that means a bit less than 11 inches). I'm pretty sure that King in Yellow is actually the tallest one thanks to the top portion of the artifact, though not by much, but the thing that surprised me is that most of them are roughly the same height. The one that is highly annoying to pose in a cabinet is Tempus Fugit, as it's not free-standing and very wide.

Good point on Tempus Fugit. I think if I go that route it might need to lay down. Or get framed. Weeping Book has a cheap easel thing from the craft store, but without having the Tempus Fugit experience I'm not certain if it could be handled similarly. Thanks for the tips so far! I assumed King in Yellow was tallest, but wanted to ask and make sure.

I'll PM you if you want more explicit details about Tempus Fugit and/or a picture. It's very unlike anything else they've done; it would definitely not work with an easel. The most likely option would be to lean it against the back of the cabinet.

Ok, I did very quick measurements of the three tallest artifacts (King in Yellow, Century Beast, and Risen). What's funny is how I assumed that Century Beast would be a little less than 11 inches; it is actually barely above 10 inches. King in Yellow is the tallest at a good 10.5 inches, while Risen is about 9 inches. Tempus Fugit is also about 9 inches, but if you're going to fully display it, the issue is width and again that it's not freestanding. The other artifacts are all smaller in height.

Okay, so it's sounding like any sort of shelving with around a foot of space between them should be fine for this purpose. Again, thank you for taking the time to help out!

To save money, it appears that the MPC was designing their final artifacts to fit into crates of the same size.
While away in London, the artifacts for both The Demon Jar and John Augur arrived and, to my surprise, both crates were not the normal size!

The Century Beast crate was a bit bigger than I had expected, so I changed my whole plan as to how to display. But it's coming together nicely!
