I received the newspaper article. It's a slim column about six inches long.

Victory for Law and Order here. Contents seem similar, except for the story told on the 6 page document, but I see no obvious message on the newspaper article.

Law and Order package came today! My story was only 5 pages long, and I only have a cute raccoon on the back of my newspaper clipping. In the Reverend's notes, Augur relates how the rest of the consortium was being pursued by the Blood Raven pirates. Augur was amused, since technically, this makes him the only one to ever escape the Blood Raven alive--if only to go to the gallows.

trying to attach again. sorry Interesting-- It seems like she faked her death, and used the sea mummy of the other man to lead the Blood Raven off of her trail? I'll have to go through everything again to be sure.
I'm less sure why Kelsey's partner gave all these things to the Curator, though, if they really did end up going after the treasure. Or, is that note on the back of obituary a hint that they didn't get away after all, since it's now in our care...? Edit: Is Tórshavn or a Mayan shipwreck referenced in any of the other experiences?

Wait, did everyone else who got Victory for the Pirates get 6 pages? I got 7... Here are the first words of each of my pages in order: I, they, sailor, or, at, I, try Also, I'm surprised that it seems like Victory for Law and Order only has a drawing on the newspaper clipping and not the fakeout ending that Victory for the Pirates seems to have. The fakeout ending is my favorite part of the whole narrative!

The first words on my pages are: I, They, brogue, I, They

I chose victory for the Pirates. My historical document is also seven pages long.

The ending is necessarily different for Law and Order because the consortium was taken out by the Blood Raven pirates. There was no treasure to be found.

I sort of wish there was an equivalent extra message for the L&O ending, but I've really loved this experience and am very happy with the way it wrapped up. However... Shouldn't the treasure already be gone in the Pirates ending? How did Kelsie find the treasure at all, if it had already been retrieved by the consortium?

I guess I'm just surprised because it seems like there's less overall content for one of the endings versus the other i.e. Law and Order has less journal pages and is missing a writeup without anything narratively equivalent to replace it. I get that there wouldn't be a treasure to find with the Law and Order ending, but still. Other spoiler thoughts: I do think the overall idea of the Law and Order ending makes more sense, and certainly is truer to actual history, as John Augur was indeed hung at the gallows. Also, while a shocking and cool twist, Kelsey actually being alive and misleading everyone this whole time doesn't really seem consistent with the overall idea of this story. After all, why would these items have been dropped off with the MPC if she was alive and trying to get away with her treasure? Why give the MPC clues as to where the treasure is? Does the MPC have some way of protecting her from the Blood Ravens? I likely need to look over everything again to clarify some of this.

As this was a surprise experience for me, I love all of the artifacts in this experience from the first mailing right through till the end. The coin is amazing. I didn't get a chance to chose my ending but believe mine was the L & O ending. It included Taal Lake brochure canvas with red fish on it 5 page hand written note/story coin newspaper obituary, cute raccoon on back Very Impressed.

It was just pointed out to me by thebeard that the URL for the travel website in the brochure misspells Philippines. Checking the whois registry, the website does appear to be registered by the same Toronto-based anonymous web registrar MPC usually uses.

Checking the whois registry, the website does appear to be registered by the same Toronto-based anonymous web registrar MPC usually uses. Now that's funny. I initially typed it in with the correct spelling and got the generic Philippines tourist site. Type it in with the MPC spelling, and you get something just a little bit different.
