This thread is to discuss ideas for solving the Harvest Time puzzle. If you've completely opened the V3 vault, then you already have the solution this puzzle leads to, but as far as I know, the exact solution to this puzzle and how it relates to the Sundial solution is yet unknown. If you do not know what the exact title of this thread ( Harvest Time) is referring to, you should probably not read any further messages here, as they may contain spoilers you do not wish to see. The precursor to this puzzle is solving the Pictogram. You can read discussions of that puzzle here: curiosandconundrums.freeforums.net/thread/414/pictogram-symbolThe first step towards solving this puzzle is known, although it is not clear yet whether this is a genuine step towards the solution or a red herring. The list of three-word sets are What3Words addresses, each specifying a geolocation. All of the locations are libraries located in the United States and Canada, with one exception in Tokyo.

One of the ideas I've tried is plotting the locations of the libraries on a map to determine whether they: a) form recognizable letter symbols, or b) form recognizable constellations.
I've tried plotting the locations for 15 and 44, and neither showed anything suggestive.

ok. I think I'm caught up here, and I always want to know HOW the answer was found. So, if you're at the "Harvest Time" site, and are using the words as amanda mentioned and seeing the things neutronstar mentioned... I've made a list of the names of the places that are near or on the destinations given by the words. My first question is, why aren't they ALL exactly on the destinations? Why do some destinations exactly match, while others are off by several squares? Does that mean something? Examples: compiled.lentil.squad touches the exact square corresponding to the little book that designates the associated Library.
lease.budding.victor is four squares above the Hat of the associated school. Is the school library supposed to be where the actual pointer is? Even if so, that doesn't explain the next one.
views.money.tricks is 16 squares north and one square west of the nearby library's book icon. Why? According to satellite view, there is a path there. Why? Why not make it movies.yarn.chill?
Are the differences meaningful? I've made a thing, But I don't know if it will help.

Just a thought, but I think the thing we should be looking at is, how to work the numbers above each group into the list of locations? Also, do the (seemingly) random letters in the site address help to solve the puzzle at all?

Movies.yarn.chill is what I call a good time. Maybe it was coded that way especially for me.

{billmurray} I want to party with you, cowboy. {/billmurray} I prefer my nuns broiled. I feel that really kills the flavor, but it really depends on how many shots I've had.

k8, where did you get movies.yarn.chill? I have the location that points to as views.money.tricks (which I keep reading as views.monkey.tricks).

k8, where did you get movies.yarn.chill? I have the location that points to as views.money.tricks (which I keep reading as views. monkey.tricks). It was something in the spoilers I posted when I was looking at the irregularities in the destinations. The question is, why isn't it movies.yarn.chill? That's where the library's name is on the what3words map. views.money.tricks - 16 letters, 5.5.6
movies.yarn.chill - 15 letters, 6.4.5
Waukesha Public Library waukeshapubliclibrary wauke.shapu.blicli 5.5.6? there is a letter I in common. I already tried this with the first set of four libraries/words, and apart from a very promising start with the lo in locate, there were no other coincident letters.
I have dealt with geolocations in puzzle trails in the past, and sometimes they involve having to go to the place. I have a hard time imagining the coordination involved in getting things to these locations in real life. But I'm not going to rule it out. Sadly, there's nothing near me in SF. Is anyone on the board near any of the other sites?

I'm close enough to the Folger Shakespeare Library/Congress (DC) to make a visit. What do we make of the fact that all the libraries are in North America but one? Maybe there is something special about that one?

Maybe there is something special about that one? There's also one that's a school, with no mention made of a library. Maybe there's something special about that one?
