Moderator Hijack - This missive is preserved for posterity, as the newest members will not have received the email in real time.
I figured I'd see if anyone has looked at the four locks that are new and separate from any of the issues on the night lock side. Has anyone checked these out yet? Are they related to emails from the Curator, or references to articles in the issues, or something else completely?

While any theories may prove to be true, the things I focus on are: - They are identified as Chapter 5, which means they should theoretically fall, in sequence, after Chapter 4.
- They are Night Locks, and Night Locks have always been visually identified by their puzzle symbols.
Based on these observations, I do not think they are items currently in our possession. If they arrive with Volume 3 Issue 4, or if they are revealed after the fact, maybe via Twitter or another mailing or another means, remains to be seen. I know my eyes will be peeled for those puzzle symbols in all future correspondence.

Todd, it looks like you are correct, the new puzzles are in the newsletters sent from the Curator, starting today. One down, three to go!

Technically, the newsletter e-mails, and other social media. So...be sure to follow on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. I think those are the only places they really have a presence. As for this first one. It seems to be pointing to some "signs" but, I haven't uncovered a word yet.

I'm fine with it being a word! My initial thought was to look into counting systems, I meant no offence!

No offence taken at all, my phraseology deliberate because it's a really clumsy clue

Is anyone curious as to why the second missive was selected first. Could we possibly have missed one?

Is anyone curious as to why the second missive was selected first. Could we possibly have missed one? I had the same thought, but I went back through and have not seen any symbols in the last several emails. Also, the Curator introduced them in this email. I guess they are just being weird for weird's sake.

Maybe it's the most straightforward of the lot -- or maybe the symbols will turn out to be a secret password and they don't want us to have too much info yet
