I think it's fair to consider this a puzzle, I don't think getting a real gold coin is as trivial as it seems.

I suppose they left it out because it isn't marked as such. But you never know with the MPC...

There may be a small amount of very important information on that card.

At least now we know what the envelope in Volume 3 Issue 1 was for...

At least now we know what the envelope in Volume 3 Issue 1 was for... Wait. What? I didn't an envelope in issue one. Can I still participate in whatever we're talking about? That was a joke. When the first issue came out, a lot of people fixated on an envelope as evidence that we needed to mail something back. The envelope was not included with issues that were ordered as back-issues. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure you're too late for this.

Gotcha. I was worried for a second. I did get the backissue version that had everything except the envelope.

I sincerely doubt anyone is too late for this. If it was as simple as mailing it to the usual and customary address as quickly as possible, it would cut out everyone out who didn't get their C&C on Tuesday. That would be everyone in Europe, plus people in many parts of Canada and the US. Thinking it's as simple as firing back an immediate snail-mail reply to the known addresses might even be an act of hubris.

I DO NOT WANT TO CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION . i would just like to treat as a valued customer and not an after thought by your company. I feel in the future you should not have a prize that is first past the post . As this, as i stated previously is unfair to your customers who arent american.
By the in my opinion your reply wasnt an answer it was just an excuse on your part.
To be clear i love your product but your customer service and delivery system stinks

My dearest Glyn,
Thank you for taking the time to write and let me know about your feelings on this. Unfortunately we could never make the promise that our quarterly would reach all subscribers at the same time. We are not ourselves based in the US, but we do need to use a mail delivery system to reach our American subscribers different from that with which we mail to our overseas members and fellow Canadians. We will not be staggering the mailings in any attempt to see the quarterly arrive at guessed-at arrival times. We did think this was a fun thing to try, and it seems clear from your note that we might benefit from reconsidering how we do this - if at all - in the future. But in the mean time, I would be happy to cancel your subscription, if you would prefer it. Do let me know, and of course, should you have any further questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me forthwith.
Your servant,
The Curator at The Mysterious Package Company

To the curator, i now understand one of the puzzles within this current issue led to a prize which was first past the post. How exactly is this fair to those of us who arent in the U.S and didnt recieve our delivery on tuesday. There really is something very wrong about this and it boils down to a massive let down on the way your company operates. I deal with other companies in your part of the world ie Lootcrate. They send the non U.S parcels early so that everyone recieves their parcel at the same time. Why exactly cant you do the same . This way of behaving stinks and i am sure that i am not the only one you will be hearing from regarding this matter.
What exactly do you intend to do about it?

My dearest Glyn,
In fact we did send out the latest issue late last week, and yours was among these. For technical reasons we have yet to "close" these orders in our system, so the typical confirmation emails have yet to be sent out. You do pay more than our North American members as that is the unfortunate reality of sending mail overseas, but this does not mean your issue will arrive as quickly as it does in the US. Even our fellow Canadians seem to receive their issues after most of the American ones, and I am aware of the irony. I do hope to soon hear you have received your issue, and of course, should you have any further questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me forthwith.

Dear sir . I notice all my friends in the U.S are currently recieving their latest issue . Whereas mine does not even seem to have been shipped yet. What exactly is going on ?
I pay extra on top because of international shipping i would have thought this would in some way guarantee my delivery would be in line with my friends . I do hope this delivery is not going to arrive 3 weeks later like the last issue .
I eagerly await both your reply and my C&C
Yours sincerely ,

Well, it's unfortunate to hear that anyone who didn't get their C&C on Tuesday (or who got their C&C on Tuesday, but didn't have the time to drop everything and comb thru it) had no chance to participate. Maybe the thread was never opened by the moderators because it was a fait accompli in such short order that discussion made no sense? I am very disappointed that there was a contest/premium/prize that left out so many people. I was genuinely hoping to hear that this wasn't a "quickest turnaround" contest. But congratulations to the moderator(s) for being so quick to act!

Ok. I'm completely lost here. Since it doesn't seem to matter any more (due to the prize(s) being claimed), can someone explain what was done and/or what the prize was?
