Ok, I finally solved it and yeah the second 52D should be 53D. In double checking my solution with the hints provided by MPC I noticed that the "Answer Lengths Hint" that MPC provides has some errors in it. You can see the errors just by comparing the answer lengths with the empty grid that they provide, so don't let that get you side tracked.

Keep this in the back of your mind. Once there was a "find all the places we accidentally screwed up, because we made them a puzzle so they look like they were on purpose" puzzle once.
