This is my first C&C, and I'm completely lost on almost all of the puzzles. The word search I got, and I'm part way through the crossword. But everything else makes no sense to me. Can anyone give me some help with how to do them? It's making me feel like a big dummy lol

Have you accessed the chat room yet? You can ask specific questions with spoilers there. Otherwise, the puzzles have their own threads here; have a look and see if anything makes sense to you then. If not, ask! It's a helpful community, but help is easier to give when we know what specifically you need help with and what you're thinking is going on with the puzzle.
All of the puzzles are marked with a symbol. Each puzzle has a first layer answer, the superficial answer. Like circling the words in the word search. They also have a second, deeper answer that pertains to our work with the Curator. New to this issue seems to be a third answer that we don't know anything about yet.
And please, don't feel like a dummy. Some of us are on our 11th issue, and some of us are on our first, with all the numbers between. We all feel like dummies sometimes.

Can anyone give me some help with how to do them? It's making me feel like a big dummy lol That's exactly how I felt my first go round with vol 3 issue 1. If you haven't yet already, I highly recommend you purchase all the back issues. Those will help you flesh out what is a puzzle, what isn't, as well as getting the whole "feel" of the paper itself. As far as puzzle help goes, do the individual threads here help you at all? If not, feel free to private message anyone here, or jump in the chat room, or just start asking away on each thread! Nobody will call you (or think you) a dummy. We've all been there! Also- I teamed up with a group that was just starting out with Vol 3.1... Sounds like there are quite a few starting with 3.2, you should join up! (or join us! The more the merrier!) There are loads of places to look for help, and just as many people willing! Good luck and have fun.

The chat room is an irc chat room. you'll need an irc client to access it. quite a few are free to use, just google "irc client". Personally I use mIRC, but others have their own preferences. Also look at this page which has the info you need to access the chat room. I doubt it's really a spoiler, but I don't know the relationship between that page and this so, ere on the side of caution and all that. If you need more help let us know.

The sitting room seems to be a thing of the past. I ignore references to it until it is resurrected.

Everything works together. The creators of the wikia are often in the chat room, and here as well. This forum was created because the Sitting Room, over time, became cumbersome without threads or a search bar. The mods and admin for this forum are also in the chat room. We're all a big happy brain trust.
