Thought we might want a spot to talk about THE VAULT.
I'm excited to have a place to put all these words we have been finding. Well, I am assuming that is what we should be doing with our C words. Any clue as to what order they should be submitted?

Any clue as to what order they should be submitted? I'm not sure what the C words in this issue are for, but it is not for Vault 2. All the codes for Vault 2 are contained in the four chapters comprising Volume 2 of C&C. |

So, from the email today, it sends to the site with the vault so I got confused. Why is he sending us there again?

Hi.
Not sure if this was done by a third party to elude others on the trail, but upon entering the URL the page was immediately redirected to a fake malware page. Ugh. Have notified the curator so it can be fixed. So far still cannot view the web site properly. Just please know if you're also redirected to the malware page, it is FAKE, do not fall for the scam.

From my view, it looks as if "Vault 2" is not yet active. The vault still remains opened for me from when I opened it using the Vol. 1 clues. I hope we'll get to apply the Vol. 2 clues to a new vault at some point, though.

I wonder if this Vault topic should actually go in the Volume 2 thread? I did indeed formulate a link to Vault #2 based on yesterday's email from the curator. However, I incorrectly guessed what the first word might be and now have to wait 24 hours before I can try again. There isn't a direct link to the vault in the email sent but it was pretty easy to figure out.

I opened Vault 1 a while back and when I went to the Vault page yesteday, I only got the same message I always get about Vault 1 being opened. |

Update: Seems a lot of people can get to the page just fine. However I've tried several times and I keep getting a bunch of rubbish. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I've tried it both with and without "the" in front of the rest of the URL, do i need to add http:// or something too? Should there be an apostrophe in "I've" ? I've scanned my PC for malware and nothing turned up.

Thanks for getting back to me. Here is what I've been trying: In the latest missive from the curator, there is a paragraph of underlined text. Upon mousing over said text, four words are revealed as links. When opened in order, they are all wikipedia pages, with the titles of them being as follows:
The Mysterious Package Company

Slash
I've Got A Secret
I had thought that it meant I was to input the URL in my address bar as follows:
Themysteriouspackagecompany.com/ivegotasecret
That is where I ran into trouble. If no one else has tried this maybe I'm overthinking things. To answer your question though, when I click the key symbol button at the bottom of the MPC web site I get a mostly blank page with a classic hollywood movie vault door. It is closed. |
