I thought this was going to be a point-and-click game with some silliness, and it was, but then it got a little sad and weirdly meta and... well it was just a nice surprising plot that developed. It was $13 I think on the Nintendo Store. It provided about 4 hours of play and has a hint system if you aren't great at point-and-click or get lost at any point.
Has anyone else played this?

Yes! Easily my mobile Game of the Year last year. The send-ups of various older games are brilliant (I refuse to spoil any of them) and the creativity of many of the puzzles is unparalleled. It may not be the hardest game ever, but in terms of humor and creativity, I can't think of a better one from last year.
