Dear Cardholders of The Boundless Library,
It has been a hell of a year for everyone, and you deserve concrete updates from us. Thank you as always for your superhuman patience in such a trying time. The news I'm bringing is good.
Like everyone, the pandemic threw us for a loop. Our supply chain was shot and our plans blew up in our faces. We immediately started to work toward digging ourselves out of this hole and delivering on what we promised. We’ve spent the last six months doing just that. We hope that in the meantime you’ve been enjoying Boring Crimes, but in addition we’re ready to announce:
● If you pre-ordered a Cardholder Kit, they will be in the mail on February 1st.
● If you pre-ordered A Feather in Dust, the first chapter will be in the mail on March 1st.
While our first commitment is fulfilling the promises we made, we have also spent our time improving how we will operate long-term.
In January, The Boundless Library will relaunch as a subscription platform for multimedia storytelling. After A Feather in Dust, we will be rapidly adding new and exciting stories, across genres and delivery formats, all of which can be accessed for a single subscription price.
I have not been as transparent as we should have been, and I've made you wait too long — both for news and for updates on your purchases. As an early supporter, I wanted to thank you, tangibly, for your commitment and your patience. On top of A Feather in Dust, which will play out over six months, we will also be giving you an additional six months of membership free, for a full-year total. This entitles you to access any stories and special events released in that year.
Should you find what we do of value and decide to renew, you’ll be legacyed into a special, discounted rate. All the details of pricing will be shared when we relaunch in January.
I am, as all of us at The Boundless Library are, so excited to share these with you, and to push the boundaries of what a narrative, and narrative puzzles, can be. We hope you’ll love what we’re cooking up, and that you can help us shape The Boundless Library into something that will make you laugh, make you cry, excite you, terrify you, and always remind you of the simple yet profound power of a good story.
Yours very truly,
Tim Sullivan
