Pic and post on Facebook from TBL Shusher: a subspecies of colophauna native to The Boundless Library, generally composed of scraps and splinters of furniture wood, densely layered paper or vellum, and specific fears. The shusher will typically settle in quiet or neglected spaces, and only rarely leaves its nest to hunt among the stacks. Not usually a threat to patrons, but be sure to speak in a respectful whisper to avoid confrontation. This artist’s rendering of a shusher appears on a tee shirt available only in our Cardholder Kits, which we’ve made available exclusively to Cardholders through the end of November. Apply to become a Cardholder today at www.theboundlesslibrary.com. No photo description available.

What does it hunt?
I'd like to think it hunt extraneous apostrophes.

Boy, that square on the right most book looks to be the right shape and size for a QR code. It isn't right now, but maybe on the shirt?

I suspect that there may be an infestation of shushers in the library at the moment, based on the silence we are hearing.
