I have no history with this company so this isn’t exactly an endorsement, but this also looks INSANE in the best way:

I had toyed with doing something like this. The epistolary format of the story lends itself to this sort of presentation.
I got stymied at Dr. Seward's recordings. I couldn't come up with a way to make wax cylinders. Phonograph records is cheating.

I couldn't come up with a way to make wax cylinders. Phonograph records is cheating. Wax cylinders do seem remarkably difficult to make. HPLHS, my favorite prop makers, decided to make a prop "wax cylinder" for one of their recent products and opted to make it a facsimile cylinder that had a thumb drive inside with MP3s on it. Considering that this same product had a prop with real springbok horn and porcupine hair, they weren't skimping on realism or expense.

I remember getting as far as finding a company that makes wax cylinder blanks. www.paulmorrismusic.co.uk/WaxCylinders.asp#targetText=Paul%20Morris'%20Music%20%2D%20Wax%20Cylinder%20Manufature&targetText=WAX%20PHONOGRAPH%20RECORDING%20BLANKS%20MADE,or%20so%2C%20the%20present%20company. Then I realized I needed to find a recorded, preferably one with modern conveniences, like a line-in. Then I would need to provide a player as well.... And my enthusiasm waned.

Who the hell has a record player anymore? I can't find any specific information that the sound recordings on the records are included in a digital way. (Todd, who could possibly play a wax cylinder?)
I assume some of you are smarter than me and see what I do not see.

I assume some of you are smarter than me and see what I do not see. I believe that the Digital Edition, which is included with any of the higher tier purchases, would include the audio in digital format. I could be wrong, but that’s how I’m interpreting it.

Who the hell has a record player anymore? I happen to have four. But in no way should I be considered normal. And I would have included the wax cylinder player with the experience, in my imagination.

I have friends who have wax cylinder players, and cylinders, and they are notoriously bothersome when it comes to functioning and producing legible sound.
