I am looking at buying something from the mysterious package company for my dad's birthday, but don't know what would be best. His birthday is 30th June and we're in England so hope it won't arrive too late. He loves puzzles, the more challenging the better. I was looking at one of the stand alone ones initially, either a Post Mortem package or the volume 4 curios and conundrums. What do you think?

First off, feel free to PM me if you want to discuss spoilers (plot details, specific puzzles, that sort of thing).
For pure puzzles, Curios and Conundrums is for sure the way to go, though they’re sold out of the issues that had the best and most interesting (and challenging) puzzles. Still, Volume 4 is fun and quirky to say the least.
Post Mortem is more of a mystery/deduction type experience and not what I would call super challenging. Death in La La Land is much better than Lights Camera Murder. They’re somewhat hard to discuss in detail without going into spoilers though. For the price, Curios and Conundrums Volume 4 would be a much better value.
In terms of stand alone Experiences, John Augur probably has the best and most challenging puzzle in it (Forgotten Tomb also has a challenging puzzle in it but I find aspects of it very tedious; some here loved it). Weeping Book also has a solid puzzle in it and is the cheapest I believe.
Overall, I’d almost certainly recommend Curios and Conundrums, but again, feel free to PM me if you want to discuss in more detail.

I would add that Post Mortem seems to have the shortest lead time on shipping in case you wanted it to actually arrive by the birthday. I'd recommend a belated gift though if you want something really "cool"
