"Following the great success of Filigree in Shadow and The Century Beast..." comes a new Kickstarter on June 4th. Do we dare?

There's a puzzle up on their Facebook page too that you can solve to reveal the title.

After moving the goalposts on their two previous Kickstarters, MPC have announced, on Facebook of all places, that they will be launching a new Kickstarter soon. They used the graphic below to entice, and provided this link to sign up for notifications.

I thought The Century Beast was pretty good, and I liked Filigree in Shadow until they punted with the artifact. Hmmm....

Well I'm certainly interested, but boy do they need new ideas/themes (going by what the answer to the puzzle is).

A six letter answer about a play that induces madness? Pat, I'd like to solve the puzzle.
Geez...I know the source material is in the public domain and everything, but there's so much more that could be explored, rather than going to the same well again.

They can't always have original ideas like Bejeweled.....
Which was a rip-off of Shariki.

On the bright side, with the way the company is run now, when the Kickstarter begins we should have a picture of everything or at the very least the artifact. Also folks let’s make sure we screen shot everything and post it here. That way we can play what changed bingo when it’s all said and done.

There are actually several puzzles already within the Kickstarter campaign; clues to decypher & solve with each of the Campaign Updates. It has been fun thusfar, & the campaign seems to recognize the issues the company has & seems to be trying to address concerns by saying this Experience will be very intricate & interactive, much more so than previous entries. What exactly that means is anyone's guess.

Just following a potential lead— how would one dial Toronto--- what would an example phone # look like? _______ xxx-xxxx. What goes in the blank?

Looks like 437, 416, and 647 are the three area codes used for Toronto. You'd need a country code too if calling from out of the US or Canada, which is 1.

Thanks SSD; I was tooooooootally overthinking the puzzle, which actually is rather easy. Went down the rabbit-hole with a set of presumptions about what the puzzle might lead to, & it all went to flibbitigibbitland from there. Much obliged for the info re: calls north of the border.

No problem. Out of curiosity, what did you use to bump those numbers against? I got the first part, but haven't found anything to match up with the video numbers.

Hint: the KS campaign, & puzzles therein, is self-contained. I totally wish that the idea that sparked, about the #s leading to a phone #, were correct, but it's still referring to the same text as before; it wasn't a gateway to any particular 'deeper' anything.
