OK, spent quite a bit of time on this yesterday.... As far as I understand, the first step is to: Figure out which constellation name goes with which constellation...then count the stars in each group. This we've done, except for 5 that we're not 100% sure on...however, we really don't know where to go from here. The text at the bottom right mentions indexing, but it also mentions supplemental materials...what supplemental materials? I'm not sure how I'm supposed to apply the numbers to anything.
The text at the bottom right seems convoluted in its language, which usually suggests that the secret lies coded there somehow, but, again, I'm not fully seeing it. Also, there are 38 words in that text, and 39 constellations.

Also, there are 38 words in that text, and 39 constellations. You will need to find something that didn't come in your box to make sense of this. You can't progress it without the related supplementary material. Also, feel free to PM if you want to check your constellations.

Also, feel free to PM if you want to check your constellations. Wait...to solve this, I'm going to have to take into consideration every bit of printed material and media out there? The solutions to the puzzles don't lie in the box?
Or is there SOME indicator as to where I might look? Because if it's "anything" then I find that absurd.
"Sorry, you didn't figure it out, because you didn't have the hardcover edition of E. Walter Maunder's "Astronomy Without a Telescope"...."

No, I didn't mean that. It's all game material. Your welcome sheet can point you in the right direction. No out-of-game astronomy references required.

While I'm not going to pretend to have made much progress with this in terms of actually solving it, I'm pretty confident I know what to do. With that caveat in mind, pay close attention to the journal entry that accompanies this. There's something referenced that would be more cinematic than what could be included in the box alone.

Anyone willing to work check? I've got a couple leftovers that don't make much sense...

Ok I have named identified all but 5. I thought I’d take a look at the cinematic portion To try and solve it backwards if possible. Is that viable or is there another layer of code?

You should be able to. That's what I ended up doing... but I'd still like to know the correlations between title and constellation for the ones I back filled

Some of them are hilarious, can we talk about them under spoiler code?

I managed to get all the constellations matched, but nothing I try next seems to work: I identified all the constellations in order from the video, and put the names in that order, but that didn't give me anything. I also used just the ones the rocket touches, but that didn't give me anything. I also counted the number of stars in each constellation but that didn't give me anything.

I recommend taking a closer look at the constellations in the video.

I named everything. Then I got them in the correct order and "translated" them. Which led to me wasting an hour because I hysterically ran out of room on my paper in the middle of the last two words so I wound up with a 7 letter word that made no sense. Ouch.
Of course, now that I have what I have, I'm not sure what the next step is, but I JUST realized what it is as I was typing this line. Sigh. I'm not as think as I smart I am.
