While I've got it together, I'm still having trouble seeing the bigger picture.

While I've got it together, I'm still having trouble seeing the bigger picture. I haven't put it together yet (we're going to start on this as a group tomorrow, but I've been perusing a few things). I noticed some important things missing that I suspect are relevant.

While I've got it together, I'm still having trouble seeing the bigger picture. I thought that tracing the path would get you some letters, but I haven't found that to be the case yet.

This ones killing me! Does it solve to 3x3? Yes. 3x3. It's worth noting that two of the squares have the same edge pattern, so there is at least two ways to put these together in a 3x3.

This caused me a lot of frustration just now. I made an assumption for a starting point and managed to finish it to only get gibberish until I realized there was a swap I could make.

Yes, for a while I thought I was missing something, and then I realized I was. .

Any hints or ideas on this? I’ve tried 9 ways from Sunday (pun intended lol) and can’t seem to make any headway...

Any hints or ideas on this? I’ve tried 9 ways from Sunday (pun intended lol) and can’t seem to make any headway... I hope someone has already pmed you, but just in case: Note that one card has Wilson's front and back, and one card has the guy with the knife front and back. There are two unique cards within the deck and thus all others must orient to them one way or another.

FYI we solved this a completely different way which yields what I think might be the "answer" The small print on the cards holds the clue, the 9x9 grid is just the confirmation

I solved it yesterday. Got what seems like a correct answer. I cheated and wrote a program that brute-forced the puzzle after I didn't make any progress except elimination of 6/9 of all possible solutions.
