The Vault appears to be gone with this latest website update.
But we will not abandon you. If you're still working, we will see you through.

I have the answers to all of the Vaults and anyone is welcome to PM me to check their work. What I'm a bit unsure about, and this is mild spoilers for those of you who haven't made headway into Volume 2, is whether or not they'll take down some of the websites associated with some of the puzzles. Those I don't have archived well at all. Bonus if you check your work with me is that I won't wait 24 hours if you send me a wrong answer!

To the esteemed members of the MPC,
I am dismayed to learn that there no longer seems to be a link to the Vault. I find that surprising given that you are still selling Volume 3 of CaC along with the previous Volumes.
I am midway through Volume 2 and would like the ability to attempt to open the Volume 2 Vault. Can we expect it to re-appear any time soon? And if it is not, I would like to register my disappointment and respectful displeasure with your decision, regardless of its underlying motivation.
I have recently convinced two of my friends to look into the Experiences your esteemed company offers based solely on their experiences with CaC, of which the Vault was a significant positive factor.
I do hope this issue is remedied in a quick and publicized fashion. Thank you for your time.
--
Whether this gets me any info, we shall see. Not holding my breath.

It has been confirmed that the Vaults are gone and are not coming back. We have added the Day and Night locks to each thread for people to use and work with.

I sent a letter inquiring about the status of the vault and got a generic customer support form letter back:
I'm very frustrated at this turn of events and grateful to those here who are making it possible to confirm answers.

The response you received is the automatic reply to anyone who sends a message. They typically follow up with a reply that answers your specific question within a day.

I have sent them 2 messages as well and have not heard a thing either... very cowardly in my opinion. My guess is that management at MPC won't allow customer service reps. to respond. The customers service reps at MPC have always given awesome service. If they delete the Vault which has further puzzles and supports all the earlier C&C volumes they sold....it doesn't say much for them being reliable and standing by and supporting future products. I wouldn't risk my money on any "subscription" product they develop and offer in the future, that's for sure. The bottom line is - if you treat customers this way...they are no longer your customers.

I should also note that I sent them a very simple question regarding the timing of the mailings for their most recent Experiences (absolutely nothing about C&C or The Vault, and no complaining of any kind) and have heard nothing back in four business days. Previously, I would typically hear back in less than 24 hours, often much faster than that in fact. All is clearly not well.

I literally JUST got this reply about the Vault: "Thank you for your inquiry! We are currently updating our website and as a result, some resources took longer to port over. Of course the codex is already on our website and The Vault will be made available shortly. Should you need anything sorted before then, or have any further questions, comments, or concerns, one of our caring concierges will be delighted to help however possible. Warmly, Your servant, The Curator at The Mysterious Package Company" That is an interesting development...
