Very first impressions..... full disclosure, I have had an extremely stressful day.....1. seeing the paper craft set me off....2. I did NOT receive the self-implanting mind control device....3..... still trying to go through everything....4.... kinda over the premiere artifact thing....
what drew me initially were the puzzles.... oh well.....
EDIT....although I have not been fitted with this device....I still l have not received it )

EDIT....although I have not been fitted with this device....I still l have not received it ) I assume they're going to have papercraft in at least the remaining two boxes this year; the papercraft is one of the main things that's advertised when you go to the main C&C page. I was very clear in my survey that the papercraft was by far my least favorite element of C&C, and I know there are others here that heavily dislike it, or at least feel that the space that it takes up could be better used for something else. Maybe they'll take that feedback to heart, but hard to know.

Just disappointed that I've already run through all the puzzles and solved them. With no big picture puzzle this is kind of a let down - I'd rather have more there than all the fancy stickers.

It looks like the reinvention of C&C that shifted the focus from Conundrums over to Curios is permanent, which is a real shame.

I urge all who are disappointed to respectfully write the concierge with feedback. we've tried that, and the response was, paraphrased, "well this is what it is now."

I, for one, enjoy the curios. And they are certainly improving their packaging (I remember when everything was just tossed into an envelope without explanation and mailed.) It seems to be a growth period and I'm hoping they'll continue to improve and (as one person said) not just make each C&C an advertisement for the larger experiences. I hope it will eventually stand on its own a bit more. I think continuing to provide constructive feedback is never a waste of time.
