22. across: sounds like a group of church singers will be needed again What word sounds similar to a group of church singers when said out loud, but means that something is needed. 34. across: a sigh of relief 'not many' will get this answer 37. across: how roses are often found Most times you want quality over quantity, but not so in this case. 27. down: the royalty of the British toilet This is a two part clue, when you combine the two answers you will get the word you seek.
British toilet + royalty = answer 28. Down: is Al good to go? This is another two part clue, the first is who, which is clearly stated, but the second part is another way to ask "Good to go?". If someone asks you "good to go?" they want to know if you are this state of preparedness.

Need to check my answer to 2. Down: as I do not think I have the correct word there. Additionally, I'm a little stuck on 7. Down, 9. Down and 11. Down. Any additional clues would be helpful.

7 Down:
When you arrange things, perhaps by alphabet or numerically. With an S at the end. 9 Down: There is a famous Conqueror. Someone the Conqueror. It's kind of his thing. And if you're friends with Mr. The Conqueror, you might call him by the short version. 11 Down: Marvel is a comic book publisher, and they gave their sorcerer a Ph.D.

And I'm clearly having a daft day, as your aid for 7 down resulted in only the last two letters... of the 5 lettered word. ***TS.. Any additional clues for a brain that just won't go is most appreciated.

I would be much obliged for any nudge in the direction of 16 Down. Last clue for me to figure out and I'm just stumped (too tired, I think.)
Much gratitude in advance!

Would someone kindly oblige me with a spoiler/hint for 1 down?
