Here are some random photos from the production space at MPC while I was there. If you have any questions about them let me know. Obviously these may ruin the 'mystery' for you if you are so inclined. Like I was told "you unsee how the sausage is made". I tried to keep people out of these so they are mostly just products on shelves. But there are some prototypes and other bits of interest. I have an original Dragons tooth somewhere I'll try add a pic of that. photos.app.goo.gl/MimrTbu5WV9CzE4BA

This is wildly cool. Thank you!
I'm also going to have nightmares from the Filigree Artifact and the hundreds of KiY's!

Yeah the Filigree mask with the long tongue was part of the original design. It was supposed to be a Stereoscope with a whole photo-based story but unfortunately, that didn't work out.

When Filigree was in kickstarter mode that was definitely the strongest option that we predicted for the artifact. Sad to hear it didn't work out.

I am one of a few who have the magnifying glass.
Thank you for sharing images of a happier time.
I'm not sure if I should call it irony or hypocrisy on my part, but prior to the Kickstarters, I was willing to throw hundreds of dollars at MPC without knowing what I was getting. But with the Kickstarters, I was very upset that promised things in the campaign did not materialize...

You are welcome. I agree it's sad that things were over-promised. Especially for Fillagree. We had high goals and the team really wanted that stereoscope to work. But the manufacturing issues proved too much to overcome. I would have loved one of those myself!

I'm also curious about the original Dragon Tooth and if you can share about the production woes that happened with it. I'm not pretending that the Dragon Tooth that was eventually sold was comparable to the original design, but I'm still quite happy with it. If you can't I completely understand.

These are cool. Thanks for sharing some scenes from behind the curtain.
It was pretty obvious that the Filigree artifact was meant to be a stereoscope. The hints were there on the Kickstarter. The artifact itself is obviously sized to fit one. I'm curious as to what the issues were with using it because a stereoscope isn't generally a complicated device.
The magnifying glass is one of the only things that I don't have from the MPC. Where/when was that offered?

I believe it only went to the Volume 1 and 2 Vault openers. curiosandconundrums.freeforums.net/thread/375/came-possession
