But I’m having a problem making posts with the spoiler thing. I have an iPhone and it appears not to be an option when replying from an iPhone. Does anyone know a work around?

You can just type it I think. Use the brackets with the word spoiler in it. Then after that, bracket, slash, and the word spoiler and close the bracket. That should work.
