Had another chance to sit down with it today. Thanks to Todd's hint about which cipher coincides to which page, I was able to get my ID card filled out. The Field Notes Twitter account has also directly linked to the in-game Twitter account now, and the in-game website is easily accessible. Sandor also stopped by another forum I frequent, and said that the main conversation will be happening on a Slack channel. Despite my deep, vitriolic disdain for Slack, I suppose I'll be diving in. It looks like this is going full-ARG, so here we go!
edit: I cannot stop laughing. The actress they hired to play our contact/leader had such a good thief/assassin vibe going, but then as soon as she started talking in the selfie video, she loses all mystique. She sounds like she's doing an unboxing video or something, not asking for our help to unravel a conspiracy.
I've scanned Twitter but don't see a link to the game. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

So, with plenty of help from Todd, I have completed my ID card, solved all the morse code and note pages. Still don't know what the Red UV numbers mean on the back covers,
or the Vol II Vol III front covers.

This really does remind me of some of the best of C&C. I feel less engaged with the online/real world puzzle, because I don't have the subscribers-only cipher wheel, but I'm really interested to see what the person going to the first real-world location will find there.

Though I have not received the booklets yet, I have received emails and did find the Twitter account. I love how the location for Agent Em is listed by using What3Words

I hate to sound like a curmudgeon, but I think I'm going to have to skip this one. It looks like the daily clues are going to be posted and solved well before I get home from work every day. I kinda wish there was an ARG that was only active on weekends.

There's two puzzles embedded in the books themselves, which aren't time-sensitive. Separately, there's an online clue of the day, which makes use of the cipher wheel that subscribers have. So far, the book puzzles and online puzzles haven't crossed paths at all, and don't affect each other. While the online clue of the day has been a simple thing solved immediately (so far it's just been a quote that led directly to a cipher wheel setting), it then leads to somebody receiving a booklet at a physical location containing a new puzzle; today's hasn't been solved yet, so I think they're getting harder (but they do seem geared toward communal solving).
But I've gotten enough solo puzzling out of the books themselves to be worth $12 -- in fact, the second book puzzle is still unsolved.

Did everyone with the puzzles subscribe, or did any of you who are solvung just order the three set?
