So I asked George about the videos that came out months ago...and if the conclusion is ever going to happen.
This was his reply:
There is a little story behind the videos which I have shared before – we originally devised a puzzle hunt type mystery starting with the videos, with the intention of wrapping them up after the original kickstarter ended, just as a bit of fun. When the campaign ended up being far more successful than we originally anticipated, we found we had a lot more work on than we originally thought we would, and so the puzzle hunt was pushed to the back burner, as it seemed to be the least time-sensitive thing. We figured we could wait a little bit until we had some more free time to work on it, and then continue the hunt, this time leading to an even more involved and complex finale. I have been working on it where I can, and there is a genuinely cool (toy telephone based) ending that I have already devised and largely set up, but at the moment it’s always hard to justify working on the puzzle hunt when I could be working on other more important aspects of fulfilment. So ultimately, I’m going to wait until the games are all out and we have a little more time, and then put into action the final part of the hunt. Obviously that’s not how we intended it to go when we began. We thought we would have more time to work on it, and it’s been deprioritised over the other things we have had to do – which I know is not ideal, but that’s the truth of it I’m afraid. However, in order to balance things out and make up for the long twisted road it has taken, we are making the ending something spectacular.
So, in short; it does all lead somewhere, we have an ending for it, but we want to put in the effort and do a good job of it, and with everything else we have had to do it has taken a backseat position, unfortunately. Sorry it’s been such a long cliff-hanger. But we will get back on it as soon as we have fulfilled all our kickstarter commitments, which have to take the lions share of our time right now.
